What draws countless adventurers to the Everest Base Camp tour year after year? Perhaps it’s the thrill of tracing the legendary route past roaring rivers, bustling Sherpa villages, and iconic monasteries—all set against the awe-inspiring backdrop of the world’s highest peaks. Designed for young adults and experienced travelers with a passion for trekking, this journey delivers a once-in-a-lifetime immersion in the heart of the Himalayas.
Your adventure begins with a scenic flight to Lukla, the gateway to Everest, before you embark on a trail that unfolds through the lively Namche Bazaar, the spiritual haven of Tengboche Monastery, and the glacial landscapes of the Khumbu. Along the way, you’ll encounter the remarkable hospitality of the Sherpa people and marvel at jaw-dropping views of Ama Dablam, Taweche, Nuptse, and Everest herself. The trek culminates at Everest Base Camp (5,364m), a goal for trekkers worldwide, and includes an ascent to Kala Patthar (5,643m)—one of the region’s most renowned viewpoints—for a close-up panorama of the Everest massif.
This tour goes beyond the peaks, offering glimpses of unique flora and fauna as you traverse forests of rhododendron and fir, and providing insight into the culture and traditions that define the Khumbu region. Our Everest Base Camp trek was truly unforgettable. The entire experience was flawlessly managed—from the initial planning to the final steps back from the mountains. The team’s coordination and communication were excellent, always timely and clear. Our guide, Pralhad, was incredibly caring, attentive, and experienced, and the porters were amazing—reliable, kind, and supportive throughout the trek. Every lodge and restaurant stop was thoughtfully selected, giving us comfort without losing the authenticity of the journey. Raj, the owner, was fantastic—always available, quick to respond, and offered valuable insights at every stage.
We did the 14 day EBC trek with a hotel either side in Kathmandu and I couldn’t recommend this structure more! They were fantastic every step along the way, easy to communicate and organise things with. Our guide Madan was amazing, very attentive and helpful with every request we gave him along the trek, kept a great pace for the group if anyone fell behind and looked after us when the altitude got to us. True hero! We had a total of 4 people in our group, which after seeing some of the other companies on the trail handling 10+ people on a daily basis, I was truly grateful for and felt was the perfect size. Would easily recommend this local travel specialist to anyone going, local company to Nepal, your money goes to good, honest people and the porters are looked after! Fantastic experience.
It was a perfect organized trip from the moment I signed up to the moment I was back at the Airport in Kathmandu. The best of all has been or guide. We meet as guide and customer and I we said good bye as friend/brother. As well or Porter - what a personality. I am leaving Nepal with the best memories possible. Having traveled to more than 70 countries I am spoiled and not easy to impress but the team did. Thanks of giving me such a nice time and made it possible to see the Mt. Everest base camp. Will come back!!!
I had a wonderful trip to Everest base camp which will remain in the memory for long. The trip was combination of excellent organization with experienced guide. Most amazing trip I ever had.
Brilliant trip! Thanks to Bhumi and Ramesh for being such great guides. Highly recommend!
Can't fault the staff at Mosaic whatsoever. We were a large university group from the UK, and had Bhumi and Rhudra as our main guides. They were incredible throughout the entire trip, and both even stayed with us for 5 extra days in Lukla when there were no flights due to storms, to make sure we got back to Kathmandu safely. Very well planned trek, all staff made a great effort to ensure everyone was constantly happy and safe, as well as providing loads of info and making us all laugh. Thanks Mosaic!
All very good. Fast replies from the boss, Madhav. Everything made easy: airport pickup, all the guides (not only mine, Bhumhi, who was also excellent, but others from Mosaic as well) went out of their way to help, everything about the trek itself explained in detail, and a successful ascent. Need I say more.
Well organized tour with attentive staff. Pravin was our guide and he always made sure everyone was well taken care of.
We completed the EBC Trek in May 2019 with Mosaic Adventures. Despite the long and not quite comfortable drive drive to Mantali Airport due to the Kathmandu Airport works everything was well organized and taken care of. Special thanks to our guide Raj that played a huge role in making this trek an unforgettable experience for us. He reacted to any problem with professionalism while he was really friendly and knowledgable, being happy to answer any of our questions. I would totally recommend him as well as Mosaic!
The views throughout the whole of this trek are stunning, pictures really don't do it justice. Asking our guide which his favourite trek is, he told us Everest base camp, but not primarily for the scenery, because of the people. I get that base camp might seem a bit touristy relative to some of the others, but I think one of the best parts of this trek was doing it with a really great, friendly group and meeting lots of other happy people on the way.
The trek to Everest Base Camp was breathtaking and awe-inspiring from the very first moment. Every stage of the trek had its own unique sights and sounds. From the beautiful, lush areas outside of Lukla, to the mountain meadows on the way to Dingboche, to the glacial features around Base Camp. I will never forget it, and I highly recommend it! It's the experience of a lifetime!
I recently completed the Everest Base Camp trek with Mosaic Adventure and cannot recommend the company highly enough. From the first enquiry, Madhav responded to all of my questions promptly and efficiently. Every detail of the trip was accounted for and arranged without complication. The Mosaic website is clear and informative which greatly assisted our preparation. Upon arrival in Kathmandu the airport transfer, city tour and pre-trek meeting all ran seamlessly. Two members of our group needed to hire gear from the company and were able to do so easily with no extra charge. This trend of competent and efficient organisation continued into the trek itself with the whole experience made as stress-free as is possible given the circumstances. Underpinning the success of the trip in every regard was our guide Ramesh who was the utmost professional from picking us up at the airport late at night through to walking us home after our farewell dinner in Kathmandu. On the trek Ramesh struck the perfect balance between being friendly, approachable and informative without ever overbearing. When members of the group struggled he was quick to assist and talk through any difficulties they were experiencing. On many occasions when members of the group became tired, Ramesh would carry their day pack in addition to his own. He was full of interesting facts about the places and people we passed along the way and somehow managed to set the perfect pace for every gradient and type of terrain. At the tea houses, Ramesh handled all of the admin with typical Mosaic efficiency and helped out in serving our meals, refilling our drink bottles and generally assisting us in any way that he could. Above all else he is a great man who became a great friend over the course of the trek and his guidance made the whole experience faultless in every way. I also have huge admiration for our porters who did a tremendous job carrying our overnight bags all the way up and down a challenging trail. They were both very nice and the bags arrived promptly each day. If you are considering trekking in Nepal then I would have no hesitation in recommending Mosaic Adventure to ensure a fantastic trip.
I am so glad to choose Mosaic adventure to travel with in Nepal! I went EBC trekking and had an extended tour to Chitwan and Pokhara. They arranged everything very carefully from the picking up at the airport to the end of the private tour. During the trekking our guide Ramesh was utmost professional and helpful. He took care of everything so that we could focus only on the trekking. The trekking was quite challenging, he even helped me carrying my daypack besides his own one. I really appreciated him; without him I could hardly make it! After the trekking I was on my own for the private tour. They kept contact with me and made sure everything run smoothly. Every time when I have any questions, they always responsed me efficiently. The people work there are amazing and reliable! I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to travel in Nepal!
My Everest Base Camp Trek with Mosaic Adventures... Well what can I say... What a fantastic experience and achievement. Mosaic Adventures took me to a place that was truly breathtaking not only taking me on a journey but having now walked amongst true professionals before me. I would like to personally thank my guide Santosh and my Porter for their professional experience getting me to Everest Base Camp. My guide Santosh was truly amazing, not only with his out standing knowledge, his friendly positive and caring nature and who I now consider to be a close friend and will continue to keep in contact with. Madhav from Mosaic Adventures made it easy from the first time I booked and really made me feel relaxed with numerous emails back and forth prior to heading to Kathmandu Nepal. So if your considering a trip to Nepal for an Adventure of a life time, look no further and book with Mosaic Adventures they are truly one professional Trekking company that is truly amazing. I have achieved something that I will never forget and am already planning another adventure in the near future with Mosaic Adventures. Santosh my guide my mate, thanks bro... Warm regards, Gary from Australia
Amazing experience. Got to finally fulfill a life long dream of seeing the Himalayas. The trek was at times pretty challenging but ultimately very rewarding. I definitely hope to make it back to Nepal some day!
The Mosaic team did a wonderful job to keep us safe and comfortable through out the entire trip. Accommodations and Food are well exceeded my expectation. I highly recommend this company for your adventurous trips.
This was an incredibke trip that was well prepared, well organized, and had very professional staff. Our guides Santosh and Rishi led 27 college students all the way to Everest Base Camp! They were very caring and paced our group well. We would not have made it to Base Camp if it were not for our great guides or the great help we had from Mosaic Adventures when we had plane trouble. I would highly recommend this organization and these people to those looking for an awesome and memorable adventure!
As our guides said, the first time you come to Nepal it's for the mountains, the next time you come it's for the people. The trek itself was amazing - mountain views, huge vistas, helicopter flights. The accommodations and food were all nice as well, and we were treated with a lot of hospitality. However, what truly made the trip memorable were our two guides Rishi and Santosh. These guys took their time to get to know all of the members of our large 27 student group personally and were always able to crack a joke to lighten the mood. They supported us on the mountain and spent their free time with us talking/playing cards back at the tea houses. We had conversations every night and they taught us A LOT about the Nepalese culture and traditions and made sure that we always felt comfortable in their country. When we had a free day in Kathmandu after the trek they graciously spent their free time giving us a bike tour around Kathmandu, a great way to see the city. They started the trip as two guides to me, but really left the trip as two friends. I will definitely be visiting Nepal and these guys again in the future.
This trek was incredibly challenging but so worth it. I had the best experience.
