day 1 - Kathmandu arrival
Meet our representative on landing at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. Transfer to your hotel and check in. Feel free to explore this historic city on your own if you want to .
day 2 - Full-day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu
Your full-day, guided sightseeing tour of Kathmandu starts after breakfast. Visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, the epicentre of religious and cultural life in the city and an area filled with old temples of historical significance.
Some of the sights worth seeing are Kal Bhairav, Hanuman Dhoka, Taleju Temple, Kasthamandap and Kumari Ghar, the last of which is home to the living goddess Kumari. Afterwards, visit Swayambhunath, the famous stupa perched on top of a hill in the west of the city that is said to be one of the oldest Buddhist stupas in the world.
Proceed to the Pashupatinath Temple, a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. This massive temple complex sits on the banks of the Bagmati River. Only Hindus are allowed to enter into the temple premises, whereas tourists can see the temple from the eastern side of the Bagmati River.
Your last destination today is Boudhanath, a Buddhist stupa said to be one of the largest in the world. This massive structure stands tall with four pairs of eyes each facing the four cardinal directions.

day 3 - Patan and Bhkatapur sightseeing tour with overnight in Nagarkot
Check out of your hotel after breakfast and head for Patan, a city rich in fine arts and beautiful architecture. Visit Patan Durbar Square and see the Krishna Temple as well as Hiranya Varna Mahavihar, the latter being one of the most important Buddhist monasteries in the city.
We will then take you to the Jawalakhel Handicraft Centre, where you can see carpets made by Tibetan refugees. This is followed by a scenic drive to Nagarkot with a stopover at Bhaktapur, the city of devotees.
Explore Bhaktapur during a sightseeing tour. See its durbar square and the famous golden gate. This gate, along with 55-window Palace, were constructed in 1754 and are widely considered to be masterpieces of Newari architecture. In fact, the gate is one of the best specimens of gilt copper repoussé in the entire world.
The durbar square is also home to other highlights like Lion’s Gate, Nyatapola Temple (the tallest temple of its kind in Nepal) and Bhairab Temple. Reach Nagarkot late in the evening and check into your hotel on arrival.
day 4 - Sunrise & sunset views from Nagarkot
Nagarkot, a large hill on the east of the Kathmandu valley, is just 32 km away from Kathmandu city. It's claim to fame is the broad views of the Himalayas that one can enjoy from the top of the hill (2175 m above sea level).
Start your day with a panoramic view of the mountains that range from Dhaulagiri in the west to Mount Everest and Kanchenjunga in the east. Between these giants are Ganesh Himal, Langtang Lirung, Shisha Pangma, Dorje Lakpa and Gauri Shanker.
day 5 - Drive back to Kathmandu and farewell dinner
Set off for Kathmandu after breakfast. Please note that accommodation today is not included in the tour price. This evening, enjoy a farewell dinner accompanied by a cultural program in a traditional Nepali restaurant.
