Great experience for family group travel

We were immersed in the culture and ecosystems of Costa Roca and got a true feel for this incredible country. We saw over 75 different animals and creatures and got a taste of so many incredible environments. It?s an animal, thrill aneekr and nature lovers dream!

We had a wonderful and appreciated our CEO, Kim. She picked out good activities, helped us to think about when each type of activity would be best and how to weight the options. There were some tough personalities and she navigated those relationships with grace. We hit some major traffic and she remained calm. Kim set the tone for the week and her positive energy worked well with the kids to give them great experiences!

This exceeded our expectations. My wife and I are experienced travelers and this was the first ?real? trip experience for our kids. Having a family themed trip was wonderful, and the kids had a blast with their tour friends. The other parents were easy to bond with. Berny was a great guide, and we were very satisfied with the experience. Looking forward to another tour!

It was amazing! This tour was perfectly suited for families, and it was so lovely traveling with other people who understand the extra challenges of traveling with kids. Plus, the smaller group size made bonding easier, and travelling extra pleasurable. The nature was unbelievably amazing. The local guides were all enthusiastic and knowledgeable and there was a great mix of activities so that you could choose things that you were most interested in. I would absolutely go on another G Adventures tour based on this experience. Pura vida!

This trip went beyond our expectations on many levels: we got to see so much wildlife and had the opportunity to partake in many adventures and local living; my daughter made friends with the other children and had a blast with them which was what I was hoping for when we decided to do this trip.

It was rewarding to travel with other like minded families and make new friends on this trip. Our CEO was amazing and connected us to this beautiful place and people. Loved it, whole family did. Guide was great, food was good, although many of the restaurants we went to were pretty expensive. In the end it ended up pretty expensive for us to get there, do the tour with all the experiences, and get home, but I don?t have any regrets and would definitely look at another tour.

G Adventure takes very good care of you, teaches you about the area you are traveling in and provides a variety of experiences to enjoy !! You should have included an other slot for the next question.

Very adventurous and family-friendly trip!

If you?re looking for a week full of laughter and adrenaline-fueled adventures that the whole family can enjoy, along with beautiful scenery and amazing wildlife right outside your hotel, G Adventures is the way to go. Haven?t had that much fun in a long time. On the plane on the way home, my son was looking at the next G Adventures trip he wants to go on!

CEO Berny was the highlight of the trip. I would join any tour where he was the leader; however, it would have to be with another tour company unless G Adventures ups its game and does better in the future.

Will definitely go with gadventures again and visit Costa Rica again.

Great way to see a lot of Costa Rica

The Costa Rican Family Tour was an amazing experience for my 13 year old nephew and myself. The trip blended the right amount of adventure and culture. We got our adrenaline buzz and learned so much in the process. Aaron, our tour guide, was passionate about the tour and patient with all of the families. Incredible Tour!!!

I had a lot of fun. The CEO made it very easy for us to just enjoy the vacation.

We had a great time exploring Costa Rica! The family trip was perfect for our only child, as he quickly made new buddies; he would not have enjoyed himself as much without other kids (especially on the long rides). That said, there was plenty of time for families to do their own thing. Our guide, Aaron, was so helpful and made adjustments along the way to accommodate the needs of the group and the earlier bedtimes for the children. It's a beautiful country!

In short, the cost of the tour covers hotel and bus. Activities are about $70 per person. Sometimes, you are doing three activities in one day. Changing hotels is tedious, but well worth it. We visited three wonderful towns. The CEO does a great job organizing, making reservations, and providing insider information. We learned a lot about Costa Rica's locals, animals and history.

Great family experience with my kids. There were a lot of options for activities that we enjoyed. We created memories that we will never forget.

Overall, we had the time of our lives. GAdventires and our CEO took care of everything so all we had to do was show up and enjoy ourselves. The memories we made will last a lifetime. We are already planning our next trip with GAdventures. There were some minor issues: The website was frustrating, and the app was found wanting in many ways. It would have been nice to have a little more clarity on how this style of group travel worked. For example, we booked many of our own excursions cause it was never made clear that our CEO could arrange those from day to day on the trip. The excursions listed online were limited and unclear when those would be taking place (all in one day? Spread over several days?) It would have been nice to know more of the timeline for departures, arrivals etc, online or on the app for each day, even if it was a rough estimate. Last but most frustrating was that the hotels originally listed on the online itinerary were all nicer, 4-star hotels so when it changed right beforehand to 3-star hotel/motel-like places, it felt a little like a bait-and-switch scam. The accommodations were fine, and we still would have come if the 3-star places were listed. It was the switching it to lower quality for the same price right before travel that felt suspicious. All minor things, but hopefully helpful feedback. There were so many more positive things than negative!!

My family had a great and memorable vacation in Costa Rica

Our CEO Nany made this trip something me and my family will always remember. It was filled with adventure and plenty of options for activities for people of all ages. We were CONSTANTLY on the go although if someone wanted more down time then that was certainly possible. All details were taken care of for us (except departure to airport) so we didn't have to worry about anything except enjoying ourselves.

It was great!!!

Our family of four (2 adults + 12 & 10 year old girls) had such an amazing time on this trip. We are pretty outdoorsy to begin with, but nothing was too adventurous for a first timer. We loved all the activities offered, especially the night mangrove tour in Manuel Antonio. The waterfall rappelling in La Fortuna was way cooler than we expected, and the ziplining in Monteverde was the experience of a lifetime. Thanks to our G-Adventures and our wonderful CEO Jorge for allowing us adults to relax and enjoy the beauty of Costa Rica. Pura Vida!!
