Itinerary
Experience Europe at its most seamless with high-speed train journeys connecting iconic cities, offering comfort, scenic routes, city-centre arrivals and an effortless way to experience multiple cultures without the stress of long transfers. Begin your journey in Rome, where you have the opportunity to explore the Eternal City at your own pace, discovering landmarks such as Piazza Navona, the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon and the Spanish Steps, with optional visits to the Vatican Museums or local culinary experiences. A guided Imperial Tour reveals the Roman Forum and Colosseum before you continue north by train to Florence, the cradle of the Renaissance, home to world-class art, historic squares and optional excursions to Pisa. Continue to Venice, enjoying a gondola ride, time to explore its iconic landmarks and the option to visit the lagoon islands of Murano, Burano and Torcello. Travel onward to Milan to explore its architectural highlights, vibrant canals and fashion culture, with a scenic Lake Como excursion included. The journey then crosses into France by train, ending in Paris with panoramic city tours, a Seine cruise, the Eiffel Tower and a guided visit to the Palace of Versailles, creating a perfectly balanced cultural and rail-based European adventure.
day 1 - Rome Arrival
Welcome to Italy! Upon arrival at Rome Fiumicino International Airport, you will met our representatives and transferred to the hotel. Enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure, allowing time for an introductory exploration of the Eternal City. You may explore Rome independently and discover its most renowned landmarks, including Piazza Navona, the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon and the Spanish Steps. In the case of an early arrival in Rome, a guided visit to the Vatican Museums is highly recommended, where you can admire Michelangelo’s world-famous Sistine Chapel along with other masterpieces of the Italian Renaissance. You may also choose from a selection of optional experiences, such as a cooking class to learn the art of preparing traditional Italian pizza, pasta, or gelato. For dinner, we suggest dining at a traditional Roman restaurant to enjoy authentic local cuisine.

day 2 - Rome
In the morning after breakfast, the day is devoted to further exploration of the Eternal City. You will join the Imperial Tour of Rome (included), visiting the Roman Forum and the Colosseum while your guide shares insights into ancient Rome and the history of the gladiators. The afternoon is at leisure, with the option to visit the Roman Catacombs or take an electric bike tour to discover Rome’s historic centre or its lesser-known corners. In the evening, we recommend a pleasant walk through the Trastevere district, famous for its traditional restaurants and vibrant atmosphere.

day 3 - Rome – Florence (train)
After breakfast, you will make your own way to Rome Termini Station to board the high-speed train to Florence; the journey takes about 1h 30 minutes. On arrival make your own way to the hotel to check in and enjoy your afternoon at leisure in Florence, the cradle of the Renaissance. You may choose to visit one of Florence’s renowned museums, such as the Uffizi Gallery, home to masterpieces by Leonardo, Caravaggio, Raphael, Titian, Botticelli and other great masters, or the Accademia Gallery, which houses Michelangelo’s iconic statue of David. Alternatively, you may choose to travel independently on a half-day visit to Pisa to see its world-famous Leaning Tower.

day 4 - Florence
In the morning after breakfast, you will explore over two thousand years of history in the cradle of the Renaissance with an expert local guide, who will lead you on an engaging journey through Florence’s most beautiful squares and iconic monuments. During this half-day tour, you will admire the landmarks that have made Florence one of the world’s most celebrated and visited destinations. The remainder of the day is at leisure to visit additional monuments or museums in Florence, or to arrange an independent excursion to the surrounding areas.

day 5 - Florence – Venice (train)
After breakfast make your own way to the railway station to board the high-speed train to Venice S. Lucia. The journey will take about 2h 15m. Upon arrival, make your own way to your hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure is this exciting city. This afternoon enjoy a 30-minute gondola ride with commentary via the app on your mobile phone. The gondola, the iconic Venetian wooden boat, can accommodate up to 6 people and will be shared with other passengers. Before dinner (not included) in Venice, it is traditional to have an aperitif based on “cichéti” (small snacks) in one of the many “bacari” (taverns) scattered along the “calli” (that is what the Venetian streets are called). Remainder day is at leisure to explore on your own.

day 6 - Venice
Today after breakfast, the day is dedicated to discovering Venice or its lagoon at your own pace. You may decide to walk through the city’s most famous landmarks, including Piazza San Marco with the Basilica and Clock Tower, the Rialto Bridge and Campo Santa Maria Formosa, along with some lesser-known corners of Venice. Alternatively, you may opt to visit the Doge’s Palace, featuring the opulent Doge’s apartments and the iconic Bridge of Sighs. Another option is a boat excursion to the islands of the Venetian Lagoon, visiting Murano, renowned for its glass craftsmanship, Burano, famous for its colourful fishermen’s houses and lace-making tradition, and Torcello, the lagoon’s earliest settlement.

day 7 - Venice – Milan (train)
After breakfast, board the high-speed train to Milan. The journey takes about 2h 30m. After arriving, After arrival, check in at the hotel and enjoy time at leisure to explore the city independently. A one-day hop-on hop-off bus ticket, complete with a multilingual audio guide, is included and may also be used as a convenient way to get around the city. This is ideal for discovering Milan’s most famous landmarks, such as the Duomo, Castello Sforzesco, the Basilica of Sant’Ambrogio and the Navigli canals, the heart of the city’s vibrant nightlife. You may further enrich your visit with an interior tour of Teatro alla Scala and its museum, offering a rare opportunity to experience one of the world’s most renowned opera houses. Active travellers, may opt for a bike tour, while those seeking retail therapy may opt for a full day of shopping at the Serravalle Outlet.

day 8 - Milan – Como - Como Lake – Milan (train)
In the morning after breakfast, you will board a regional train to Como, with a journey time of approximately 40 minutes. Upon arrival, discover the town of Como and its famous lake independently. A day ticket for the hop-on hop-off public boat is included, allowing you to explore Lake Como at your own pace and choose your preferred stops based on boat schedules and your return train to Milan. Enjoy free time in Como to stroll through the town and browse its local boutiques before returning to Milan in the evening.

day 9 - Milan – Paris (train)
After breakfast at the hotel, make your own way to the train station to board a train from Milan to the romantic city of Paris, leaving Italy behind as you cross into France and arrive in the heart of the French capital. Upon arrival, the rest of the day is at leisure to explore Paris independently, whether visiting iconic landmarks such as the Louvre Museum, strolling through the charming streets of Montmartre, or relaxing at one of the city’s many cafés where you can enjoy the timeless charm of the City of Light.

day 10 - Paris
Today after breakfast, you will discover Paris from a Parisian perspective, beginning with a panoramic open-top bus tour. You will pass through the city’s most famous neighbourhoods and landmarks, from the Eiffel Tower to Notre Dame, while admiring the elegant architecture of the City of Light. Special commentary is available for children, who can discover Paris through the stories of Lulu and Maurice, two friendly dogs guiding them through the city. You will then enjoy a Seine River cruise aboard a glass-enclosed boat, followed by a visit to the second floor of the Eiffel Tower, offering an exceptional panoramic view of the French capital.

day 11 - Paris – Versailles - Paris (train/bus)
Today after breakfast, you will discover the magnificent Palace of Versailles and its extraordinary treasures. Begin the tour in central Paris, where you will meet your guide and a small group of fellow travellers before boarding a train/bus for a short journey into the countryside. Upon arrival in Versailles, enjoy skip-the-line access to the Palace and explore its highlights with an expert guide, including the richly decorated chapel, the King’s and Queen’s private apartments and the grand state rooms, most notably the iconic Hall of Mirrors. As you walk through the palace, your guide will bring its history to life with stories of royal intrigue while offering insight into daily life at the court. Your guided visit also includes an introduction to the magnificent Palace Gardens, which you may explore independently.
