The route takes you over Thorong La Pass (5,416m) and through the world’s deepest valley, the Kali Gandaki Gorge. Wander through forests of rhododendron, oak, and bamboo; marvel at towering peaks like Annapurna and Dhaulagiri; and visit remote villages where Buddhist and Hindu traditions coexist harmoniously. A side trip to Tilicho Lake—one of the world’s highest—adds to the trek’s allure.
