Madrid – Merida – Cordoba.
We depart Madrid heading west towards Extremadura, a region closely linked to the Spanish explorers of the New World. We arrive in Mérida, the capital of Extremadura and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, renowned for its exceptionally preserved Roman legacy. During our time here, you can appreciate landmarks such as the Roman Theatre and Amphitheatre, as well as the Roman Bridge that still spans the Guadiana River. We enjoy free time before continuing south to Córdoba, once the capital of the powerful Islamic Caliphate. Accommodation at the hotel.
