We generally bury or burn our bio-degradable trash and what’s not disposable is packed and deposited in a bin installed by conservation park authorities. Our porters are always protected. We are always aware about the risks involved and ensure our guides and porters are well equipped and geared for you to enjoy hassle free services. We strictly follow rules and regulations of the International Porters Protection Group (www.ippg.net). We avoid camp fires when on the trail and advise our guests to buy wood-fueled hot showers in lodges. On all our ventures we always make sure we give ‘something back’to the community. Unique Adventure has always been involved with helping build schools in mountain villages, assisting widows with an income source, helping educate porters’ children’ and assisting the disabled who have been injured while escorting guests on the mountains etcetera.
