The trip overall was fabulous, but I was heartbroken that we didn't get to do the tour of the Colliseum - one of the main reasons I wanted to go on this tour. The "included" breakfasts were really good. The "included" dinners were subpar, for the most part. We really enjoyed the food and atmosphere in Tuscany and at the farewell dinner.

The itinerary was comprehensive and we saw everything we could possibly see in the time given. This was helped by having an absolutely first class Travel Concierge in Miriam Bourin, a small group of only 13 people - ideal - and great guides at each destination. The included meals were always extremely good. Can honestly say everyone involved went the extra mile to make our tour memorable.

Itinerary was good but too many optional experiences that had to be paid for at most every stop. Too many single night stops for a 20 day trip. More dinners or lunches should have been included. Danny was an excellent tour guide. Always cheerful, knowledgeable, and helpful- always willing to give recommendations. He scheduled breaks very appropriately. Norbert did a fabulous job driving the many hundreds of miles we traveled. He handled a bus vs bus narrow road incident very well. The tour group was a good size.

This Itinerary (The Country Roads of France) was “Magical”!! The visual splendour and deep history of knowledge, is a memory and teaching which I will always treasure.. "From the moment we arrived, our Trip Director, set the gold standard for travel. He was the perfect combination of skills for the job—dedicated in his region and culture, highly knowledgeable, and a well-organized, confident leader. Logistics were a breeze; he expertly navigated our group through the crowds and secured bypasses for long lines at major sites, making every minute count. On the longer stretches of the drive, he shared captivating historical and cultural insights that kept us engaged without ever feeling overwhelming. I can't rate his professionalism and warmth highly enough! The clever, spontaneous, and “off-the-cuff remarks” that interrupted any mundane moments, always made us laugh and brought out everyones own “wit” to share! This brought us to a wonderful atmosphere within the bus and fast friends were made. Also a “Wonderful” shout out to our “Driver”, such expertise through some very big challenges within the tiny countryside Villages, and Paris. The “Insight” Bus was very cozy and comfortable with the extra leg room, not generally found on most Bus Tours. We had two terrific drivers for safe driving, which was necessary for the length of our trip, always a smile on their faces! Both gentlemen were so polite and helped EVERY Passenger at both 2 doors of the bus get on and off the bus, which most of us “Seniors” appreciated. All Hotels and Options were “Top Notch” totally amazing! Over all, we all had such an “Amazing Time” And we all will be definitely booking with Insight and Trafalger in the Future !!!! Looking at Australia & New Zealand next!!!

The Tour was wonderful! All of the sites visited were well organized, well planned and time spent at each place was perfect, except for Rome. We could have spent at least one more day there. Marco, our tour guide was exceptional! His explanations of sites and directions were right on. He was helpful in guiding us to other places of interest on our free time and was helpful in every way. An unexpected highlight was a visit to the church where the remains of St. Carlo Acutis are on view. This was in Assisi. It was a touching experience. The Stay in Venice and Lake Como were awesome too! It was an excellent tour!

Best tour directer and bus driver you could have! Tour directer was very knowledgeable, organized, and had a great sense of humor! Bus driver was super skilled and just a great guy! Trip was amazing! If you want to see France, this is the trip!
