I loved the hikes on this trip, especially the gorge walk and the hike on day 6. Really enjoyed the week in the mountains with our group and spending the week in Arenas de Cabrales. Most hikes we did not see anyone so it was nice feeling we had the trails to ourselves. The gorge walk is very popular so there are other hikers, but it is a long walk so did not feel crowded. Really impressed with the hikes on the itinerary. I feel I could not do these hikes on my own and find some of these trails so being with an experienced guide with Exodus was the way to go.

The trip was well organized, the itinerary good (we stuck to it, the hikes were beautiful and suitably challenging) and guide took well care of our needs. The public bus system is not optimized for peak season, and was a hazzle a couple of times. We took a private bus one morning, and having it available all days would have been practical. The hotel had bad internet/wifi and the communication by owner/personnel made me at times feel I was a nuisance. The hotel rooms were clean and comfortable.

My hiking holiday in the Dolomites from 20th to 27th June was absolutely fantastic. The scenery is awesome, the hotel clean with fabulous food. Best of all though was Tour Leader, Jasmine :-) As the weather was very hot with thunderstorms on some afternoons, Jasmine flexed the itinerary to better suit walking in the heat and to avoid rain. Brilliant holiday all round. If only British Airways were so accessible and helpful when it canceled my flight on 27th June, offering no support at all.

It was an amazing experience. Our Explore leader Jasmin was super attentive and cared for every single detail regards to our safety and enjoyment. The group was a fun and friendly group. And of course, hiking the Dolomiti is like walking om a lost paradise! (with some extra sweat due the heatwave!). We will do it again.

Excellent leadership provided by Jasmin who is knowledgeable, friendly, skilled, and supportive. The hotel staff were wonderful and the food was excellent. The hikes were beautiful and moderate. Our group established very quickly a friendly and supportive community that will probably endure long after the trip has ended. Well done Explore!
