Mediterranean Trekking and Hiking Trips

We were a group of nine mostly strangers to each other who bonded during this wonderful adventure. Francisco and Raphael could not have been better trip leaders. They were very gracious, helpful. knowledgeable and fun to be with. We did not just hike but about new Flora, Fauna, and Portuguese customs, including food, cork , olives, ceramics, wine and medrano distillation.

Jovi did an outstanding job putting together our Itinerary for a 15-Day Trip to China, from which we have just returned. From start to finish the guides, hotels and the scheduled activities went off smoothly. We would like to recommend Linda Xu and Vivian Wang, the rep who arranged our trip, ifi you are looking for a company to arrange your trip to China.

Zachary was a knowledgeable and caring guide, well prepared and organized. I very much enjoyed the itinerary, particularly the backroads parts, walking through the countryside. The food and accommodations added greatly to the enjoyment of the trip. We were lucky to enjoy great weather for the duration of the trip, and the group was easy to be with. Taking public buses and trains between walks added to the experience of the culture. The hiking was more challenging than expected, but quite manageable. I very much recommend Backroads of Japan for anyone wanting a more intimate experience of Japanese culture.

The whole experience was absolutely amazing, even though it was just the two of us on the tour. Everything was perfectly organized, and we got to enjoy a more personal and flexible experience. Our tour leader made the trip even more special with their knowledge, enthusiasm, and warm personality. They took great care to tailor the journey to our interests, making every stop meaningful. It truly felt like a private adventure, and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide or experience.

Well organised which made the whole trek lot more pleasant. The accommodation was all very good except for one that was average but quite doable. Overall, very pleasant experience, thanks!

The Dordogne trip was outstanding - beautiful scenery, quaint and comfortable hotels, excellent food and days longs enough to feel the benefit of walking but not so long to make you too exhausted to enjoy arriving. Added bonus was our ability to enjoy a “coupe” everywhere we landed.
