Mediterranean Tours for Experienced Travelers

A very enjoyable tour with an exceptional leader in Yousra Barka. There was a lot of travelling time in the bus but I wouldn't have missed the night in the desert at the southernmost point, both for the Berber camp and the driving!

Italy was fantastic and Flavio Nicoletti made it even more fun and entertaining, as well as educational. Thank you, to our travel advisor, Brenda Ajay, Collette Tours, and Flavio our very funny and educational tour guide!!!

Cant think of a favorite or worse. Trip was well organized, saw all the highlights of a large area, great hotels & food. Moves along at a perfect pace with a group of 48 - everyone was happy.

Tour guide and manager were excellent.Only negative was bad hotel in London after missing my flight back to Tampa after Aer Lingus flight was late causing missed.Got eaten by bedbugs @ Radisson Blu.

The tour was excellent until weather caused a major problem at the airport. Snow on the last day closed the airport and cancelled all flights. We had made our own flight reservations so we worked thru the problem with much difficulty. Iceland Air tried to deal with the problem but it was too much for them. We landed up paying twice the fare to get home. We have filed an insurance claim. Through out this disaster the tour guide provided transportation and a hotel room which were wonderful considering that the entire island was experiencing the same problems caused by the snow fall. This support allowed us to solve the problem and get us home. I loved the tour, Iceland is a great place with wonderful sights to see. The Diamond Beach, the water falls, the glacier and the Blue Lagoon were top memories. The only thing missing was any interaction with the locals. We had one local guide and she was great but many tours we have been on make an effort to engage the local population.

The tour was AWESOME! Our tour guide, Javier was totally AWESOME! It went by too fast. We didn't have enough time in the wonderful places, but it was GREAT!
