Mediterranean Tours in April 2026

Ester Galindo was a very good guide, she was very welcoming, approachable and took time to check that everyone on the trip was okay and felt comfortable with the planned walks. She also researched and provided information for things for us to do on our free day. I feel that she really cared and wanted all involved to have a enjoyable and positive trip.

I’m so sad that my time in Peru had to come to an end. It was a trip of a lifetime thanks to Charlie and his team. Everything was amazing, from the lodging to the guided tours. Whenever we had an issue, Charlie and his team were always there to assist us.

This was a great Itinerary. I felt I saw many parts of Italy. The trip was more than. I expected. A great travel Director Emma, a great driver. Gaetano and the local expertise guides were wonderful. The whole experience was more than. I could imagine. I felt Trafalgar thinks of everything when planning these itineraries. I will definitely be booking again with them. And made many new friends among all those that were on the same tour

Everything about the week was exceptional and memorable. The hikes were different every day and highlighted the special and significant features of the area. Our group leader, Miquel/Mike, was an endless source of information on the human and natural history, and the flora and fauna, making a point to include what the group was interested in. Our group bonded well right from the first day, as we tackled a rainy hike and then the ensuing mud the next day. Mike was constantly aware of and concerned for everyone’s safety and adapted the speed of the walk to accommodate all of us. His pleasant demeanor, sense of humor, punctuality, and attention to detail made the week a pleasure for all. We could not have asked for a better leader!

This trip promised an opportunity to experience the Great Wall of China in depth and it really didnt disappoint. It was well planned so we experienced the Wall in a range of settings and conditions- some of it highly restored and some treacherously crumbling. The scale of the wall as it snaked across hills in the distance was breathtaking, and being able to enjoy long stretches while meeting barely another soul was extraordinary. Our guide Olly was fabulous. Very knowledgable about Chinese history and culture, he also put an enormous amount of thought and care into making sure we felt well-looked after and prepping us for each stage of the trip. Nothing was too much trouble for him and he really cared about us experiencing a great trip, sourcing delicious food, advising us on what we needed for each day's walking and managing to reschedule everything so we didnt miss out when the first few days were derailed due to bad weather. One note of warning - to describe the walking as moderate is an understatement! And take the Xian extension if you have time. Terracotta Army is stunning and you will meet another great guide Diana.

I joined this itinerary in April 2025 and was utterly blown away by the locations visited. Matera was stunning, Lecce's winding streets were beautiful with gems hidden round every corner, We stayed in a traditional Trulli house which was a personal highlight for me!
