The tour leader was very knowledgable and we learned a great deal about the Baltic states culture and history. The day we spent exploring the Curonian Spit National Park in Lithuania was especially interesting. Witches hill with the wonderful wood carvings was amazing.

The guide went out of her way to make sure everyone had options, geared to their interests and abilities. The tour leader was really outstanding in every respect, being unfailingly cheerful and friendly, competent and energetic. The mostly fairly mature 15 group members were at least as likable, cheerful and co-operative as on any previous trip. The hectic itinerary packed a lot in. More trains next time!
