Mediterranean Escorted Tours and Guided Trips

The trip was well organised from the start. The tour leader was exceptional and very well versed in what we were about to see and in the general geography of Sicily. We had not been on an organised tour before but will certainly consider Explore again. Thank you

The host family was lovely, accommodating and friendly. Each meal was delicious and served with warmth and smiles. Our guide, Pete Meyers, was knowledgeable confident and very conscientious. All of our 16 tour members had his attention and focus throughout the week. The areas of the hikes and visits were all stunning and filled with beautiful views, experiences and food!

The itinerary was as expected although some of the details were out of date or obsolete. An up to date review would be useful. Lucie, the Explore Leader was exceptional!

The itinerary was great. Our Tour Director, was fabulous. I didn’t like the Outrigger hotel on Kauai. The staff was pleasant and the pool was great. But the building was the pits. Also, it was too far f try on a town and there was no where else to go for dinner.

Being able to see so much of the beauty of Iceland was amazing. I'm not sure I can pinpoint one favorite part of my trip. Each day and each experience was magical. Being able to walk the tectonic plates between Europe and the United States was almost surreal. Also seeing the floating icebergs and Diamond Beach was beautiful. I'm so grateful I was able to go on this tour.

First tour with Explore - experience exceeded my expectations! Minor negative (also shared by others in the group) was the ‘shared’ accommodation in Gey Village. Ok if I was in my 30’s but I’m in late 60’s. Worth investigating alternative accommodation options even if some additional busing might be required. Otherwise everything (guide, group, food, accommodation, transportation, and hikes/views) great! Won’t be my last tour with Explore!
