Palermo Tours in September 2026

We got to see the key sights of Italy such as the Coliseum, Venice, the David statue and many more. Through Insight we bypassed the lines to get in. Our tour director was knowledgeable and helpful recommending places to eat when not included with the tour. The places we ate were excellent, often in off the beaten pass or in places that you would probably not find on your own. Nothing bad to say about the trip.

Very nicely paced trip with 2 x 3 night stops and only 1 one nighter. Also nice to have some evenings free to eat independently. Loved Capri and the optional excursion to Positano. Local guides were also excellent.

We saw historical sites most of all the on road team and expects areas were very knowledgeable and explained everything well . Hotels and food was so beautifully prepared and tastey . We were welcomed wherever we visited . I will recommend this strip to anyone who want to tour Italy/Sicily . Insight tours are the best . The couch very comfortable we were always connected on wife . Driver is the expect and we felt so safe

We were able to see as much as possible in these areas without changing hotels each day. Initially I thought the extra choices should have just been added in but in hindsight this choice allowed each participant to choose to do the extra tour or pursue their own interest in the area. Choice of hotels was varied and well chosen. Food was regional. Tour Director was very knowledgable, attentive to any needs/wants without being intrusive.

Itinerary too compact. Not enough time to take wanted photos or to truly experience the local culture. I would recommend the trip be extended a couple of more days. Also, it was a disappointment that the stopover in Rome did not include Saint Peter’s or the Vatican in the schedule.

This itinerary was great. You see mostly everything Italy has to offer in this amount of time. You see way more than what they advertise. The only thing we did not like was if you don’t buy the optional experiences, you would have a lot of down time. The experiences that were included did not take long, maybe 2-3 hours a day and that was it. We did all of the optional experiences and spent an additional $2,300 (for 2 people). We wish they would have just been included in the price of the entire tour.
