Our 10 days Poon Hill Ghorepani Trek is short and easy, and it offers a spectacular view of waterfalls, mountains and takes you to the world’s largest rhododendron forest. It also takes you to Poonhill viewpoint which offers spectacular views of the Annapurna Range including mountains such as Annapurna I, ( 8091 m), Annapurna II (7,937 m), Annapurna III (7,555 m), Annapurna IV (7,525 m), Gangapurna (7455 m), Dhaulagiri (8167 m), Nilgiri, and Hiunchuli (6441 m). Standing atop Poonhill during sunrise is truly a cherished moment and one you are not likely to ever forget.

Other mountains you will get to see on this trek is the beautiful Mt. Fishtail Mountain (6,993 m), Mt. Manaslu (8,156 m), and Lamjung Himal from Pokhara.

On the trail you will pass by several local villages and thereby also get lots of cultural input during this trek. If having 10 days available, we highly recommend this trek.

Day 1
Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu, Nepal (1,345 m)
The representative of Ace Holidays receives you at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu. You see the representative displaying the signboard of Ace Holidays outside the airport terminal. You will be transferred to your respective hotel by the private vehicle of Ace Holidays.

Note: We will organise your pre-trip meeting at our office or at your hotel on the same day. In this meeting, you are requested to bring your passport, 3 passport-sized photos and a readable copy of your travel insurance. Also in this meeting, you must clear all due balance, sign a legally binding trip form, and a non–liability disclaimer. In this meeting, you are also requested to ask any questions of your trip. Ace Holidays provides you Duffel Bag and Cap (yours to keep).

Day 2
Drive to Pokhara in a tourist bus – 7 hrs
In the morning, your trek guide comes at the hotel to take you to the bus to Pokhara. Pokhara is also called a city of lakes which has Phewa lake, Begnas Lake, Rupa Lake and more. It also offers the panoramic view of Fishtail Mountain (Machhapucharre 6,993 m), Annapurna (8,091 m), Dhaulagiri (8,167 m), Manaslu (8,156 m), and Lamjung Himal.

Day 3
Drive to Nayapul (1,010 m) – 1 hr and Trek to Tirkhedunga (1570 m) – 3 hrs
From Pokhara, you go to Nayapul, which is the starting point of the Annapurna Base Camp Trek, and you drive from Nayapul to Birethani, which is a small beautiful village, abounding with rhododendron trees and from this beautiful village, the trekking trail leads you to Hille and Tirkhedunga and passes by the Bhurungdi Khola (River).

Day 4
Trek to Ghorepani (2,840 m) – 5 hrs
Trek on the steep hill to reach Ulleri village, which offers the stunning view of Annapurna South (7,219 m), and you pass through the rhododendron and oak trees and Bangthanti and Nangethanti villages.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Day 5
Trek to Poonhill (3210 m) and Trek to Tadapani (2170 m) – 7 hrs
In the early morning, trek to Poon Hill (3,210 m) to see an excellent view of Annapurna I, ( 8,091 m), Annapurna II (7,937 m), Annapurna III (7,555 m), Annapurna IV (7,525 m), Gangapurna (7,455 m), and Annapurna South (7,219 m) and the unobstructed view of the sunrise. Spend at least 1 hour on Poonhill and then trek to Ghorepani and Tadapani (2,170 m), passing through the pine and rhododendron forest, and Deurali and Banthanti villages.

Day 6
Trek to Ghandruk (1940 m) – 3 hrs
From Tadapani, you descend through the forest to Ghandruk, a village of the Gurung people, and this village offers the view of Annapurna I ( 8,091 m), Annapurna II (7,937 m), Annapurna III (7.555 m), Annapurna IV (7,525 m), Gangapurna (7, 455 m), Annapurna South (7,219 m), and Machapucharre (6,993 m).

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Day 7
Trek to Nayapul (1,010 m) – 4 hrs and drive to Pokhara – 1 hr
You trek a descendible trail that is made of stones, that runs through terraced fields and Birethani, and that connects with the valley, and from Birethani, you will take half an hour to reach Nayapul.

Meals: Breakfast and Lunch

Day 8
Leisure Day in Pokhara
Pokhara is very beautiful valley full of lakes. You can go for sightseeing on your own or walk around lake side, do street shooping and enjoy your day.

Day 9
Drive to Kathmandu in a tourist bus – 7hrs
Drive to Kathmandu. Take a walk in the streets of Thamel or stroll in Basantapur area, and if you are interested in a Jungle Safari, River Rafting, Paragliding, Helisightseeing, Shopping and Mountain Flight, then you can start through Ace Holidays.

Day 10
Transfer to Tribhuwan International Airport for Departure
Today is the departure day; therefore, you are picked up from the hotel and transferred to Tribhuwan International Airport on time.
