Germany Tour Reviews

Honest insights from past guests on our Germany tours

David H. | Traveled in May

Having lived in Europe in the 1960's and revisiting several times, I was impressed with the overall tour. Carl, our director was excellent in pointing out sites we passed and our driver, Werner was always cheerful and fun to be with. Having options with extra daily tours and the ability to search out areas on our own was an excellent combination.

The itinerary was great and had so many experiences we would not have known to do on our own. So great to not worry about getting tickets to this or that. So much history and information was shared by the fantastic travel director we had and our driver was amazing. We felt safe and cared for. It was a dream vacation!

The tours we saw were unique and were very good. Insight does a great job sharing the culture of the area. The local guides are amazing. Our tour director was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Our bus driver could not have been any better. The bus is new, clean, and roomy. This was a great trip.

The included activities were excellent and then the addons were great also. Our tour guide, Rob, made everyday fun and kept us all on track. The meals were okay, nothing to write home about. Accomodations were great. They gave us a good mix of activities.

Would like to have had more time to absorb the Holocaust memorial in Berlin. Felt rather rushed. Need more time for Dresden museums. Frankfurt-Meh.....Heidelberg was nice but worth the trip? Maybe more time in Munich. Perhaps a night in the Black Forest (Freiberg?) or somewhere in Bavaria before heading to Munich? Overall, though, really enjoyed the tour. Carl was very organized. Enjoyed his sense of humor. Werner is an excellent driver. Ron Martin

We were able to see all the major highlights in each city, and had some time on our own to explore what interested us the most. It was a great way to see multiple cities in one go.
