“We found that this trip was a great blend, first providing the history of the Imperial Cities, the culture and the food of the local people, and the challenge of climbing in the High Atlas Mountains, supported by a mule team. There was time for activity and relaxation. We have great respect for the people who were observing the month of Ramadan, so that while we were eating and drinking water through each day, they did not quench their hunger or thirst until sunset. There were some extremely hot days, that must have made their job very trying, but they were forever cheerful.”

“The trip was great made more so by the guide - Hassan - and the other Moroccan support staff including drivers and guides and muleteers/cook. Of the course the other tourists also made the trip exciting as always good to get a good group of people who all get on. There is a lot to see in Morocco and the history, sites and activities went all well together over 18 days to give me an insight in to Morocco. Accommodation in Riads were fantastic in all the cities, good locations, friendly and helpful staff and the ambiance inside just right for relaxation after a long day. The highlights of the trip were Fez, Mezogas, Marrakesh and of course the Atlas trek of which climbing Mt Toubkhal and staying in Berber guest house in the Atlas. I am not sure we had typical Moroccan food as I eat a lot of it at home and it was different.”
