Paris to Frankfurt—discover the magic of two of Europe’s most vibrant cities on the 'Incredible Europe' 20-day sightseeing trip. Tailored for the mature traveler, this guided group experience covers France and Germany at a gentle pace. You’ll enjoy the ease of pre-arranged accommodations, transport, and meals, ensuring your sole focus is on exploration and enjoyment. This trip’s unique feature is its comprehensive scope, offering an in-depth look at European culture, history, and scenery, all while prioritizing your comfort and convenience.

day 1 - Paris

Welcome to your tour with Europamundo! We’ll transfer you to the hotel and you’ll have some free time. In the afternoon, you’ll find information about the start of your tour on the boards located at the hotel reception.

day 2 - Paris

We’ll immerse ourselves in the rich history of France at the magnificent Palace of Versailles (admission not included), renowned for its stunning gardens. On our return to Paris, we’ll visit Montmartre, a charming bohemian neighborhood famous for its artists, painters, and cabarets. To fully appreciate the grandeur of Paris, we’ll embark on a panoramic city tour with a local guide, showcasing the city’s impressive avenues and iconic monuments. Afterward, we’ll return to the hotel. For those interested, there is an optional variety show in the evening. ​

day 3 - Paris

We’ll start our day in central PARIS, beginning with a visit to the iconic Eiffel Tower. You´ll have the chance to go up to the second floor of this famous iron landmark (tickets included). Afterwards, we’ll enjoy a relaxing boat cruise along the Seine, which will last approximately one hour and fifteen minutes. You’ll have a free afternoon to explore the city at your own pace (transfer back to the hotel not included). Note: If wait times at the Eiffel Tower are too long, we might reschedule the visit to a different time (or on Sunday) for your convenience.

day 4 - Paris, Burgundy, Beaune, Lyon

Today, we’ll journey to the heart of France, passing through the Bourgogne region, renowned for its picturesque vineyards and worldclass wines. Our first stop will be Beaune, a charming town in the center of Burgundy known for its flowerfilled streets, hospice, and wine museum. After some free time for lunch and a walk, we’ll continue to Lyon, the former capital of Roman Gaul, located on the banks of the Rhône River. Lyon´s historic center is a UNESCO World Heritage site. We’ll take a cable car up to NotreDame de Fourvière, where we can enjoy a stunning view of the city. You’ll have some free time to explore at your leisure. Note: In some cases, part of the group will stay in Chambéry, a city near Lyon. In these instances, we’ll travel to Chambéry in the evening for an overnight stay. In the morning, you’ll have time to visit this medievalstyle city, the capital de la Saboya, known for its beautiful historic center and impressive castle.

day 5 - Lyon, Geneva, Zurich

Today, we’ll travel to Switzerland. Upon arrival in Geneva, we’ll pass by the Palace of Nations (the European headquarters of the United Nations) and explore the pretty English Garden with its flower clock and admire the Jet d’Eau, the tallest fountain in Europe. After lunch, we’ll continue our journey through Switzerland, traveling along the scenic routes by Lake Geneva and Lake Neuchâtel. We’ll drive along the Three Lakes region, enjoying views of magnificent vineyards set against the mountain backdrop. We’ll stop in Neuchâtel, where you can enjoy a walk by the lake, explore the historic town center, or visit the beautiful 10thcentury castle. Our journey will conclude in Zurich, where we’ll arrive in the late afternoon. Note: Depending on the number of passengers traveling from Geneva to Zurich, this part of the trip may be done by train, in which case there will be no stop in Neuchâtel.

day 6 - Zurich

With our guide, we’ll explore Zurich, the most populous city in Switzerland, and its financial and cultural heart. Known for its banks, Zurich has been twice recognized as the city with the best quality of life in the world. Afterwards, we’ll embark on a scenic cruise of nearly two hours on Lake Zurich, with brief stops to enjoy the charming villages along the route. We’ll disembark in Rapperswil, a picturesque village renowned for its medieval castle. We’ll return to Zurich by train, providing an opportunity to experience the efficiency and punctuality of the Swiss railway system. Note: Depending on the number of travelers, transfers to and from the city center may be via public transport.

day 7 - Zurich, Lucerne, Zurich

Today´s journey features stunning landscapes with tall mountains and pristine lakes. We’ll enjoy breathtaking scenery in the Interlaken region. Our first stop will be Grindelwald, where we’ll have time for a coffee before taking the cable car up the mountain. Once there, we’ll walk along a winding path leading to a suspended bridge. For those who are adventurous, crossing the bridge offers spectacular views of the surrounding glaciers. We’ll have lunch on the mountain (included) before heading back down. Our next destination is Lucerne, one of Switzerland´s most beautiful cities, where you’ll have time to explore and enjoy the charming cityscape. We’ll then return to Zurich. Note: The guide will offer an optional fullday excursion, starting in the morning. After some free time in Lucerne, we’ll take a rotating cable car to the summit of Mount Titlis. At over 3,000 meters above sea level, the alpine summit offers breathtaking views of the glacier and the Alps.

day 8 - Zurich, Bellinzona, Como, Milan

We’ll leave Zurich early in the morning, crossing the Alps to reach the Italianspeaking part of Switzerland. Our first stop will be Bellinzona, renowned for its three medieval castles, which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Perched on the hills overlooking the city, these castles highlight Bellinzona´s historical significance as a key alpine stronghold. Enjoy some free time to wander through the charming streets of the center. Next, we´ll enter Italy and stop in the charming town of Como for lunch. This town is considered the jewel of Lombardy, known for its beautiful gardens beside the lake and its spectacular cathedral. We’ll continue to Milan, where our guide will take us to the impressive Piazza del Duomo. You’ll have some time to wander around before we transfer you to the hotel.

day 9 - Milan, Pisa, Rome

Today, we’ll continue our journey to Pisa. We´ll ride a small tourist train to the Piazza dei Miracoli (Square of Miracles), where you´ll have time to admire one of the most captivating and beautiful art complexes in Italy, including the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa. Afterwards, we’ll head to Rome, arriving later in the day.

day 10 - Rome

In the morning, we’ll take a threehour guided tour of the Eternal City, combining a walking tour through Imperial Rome with a panoramic bus ride to admire one of the oldest and most influential cities in Western civilization. During the tour, we’ll see iconic landmarks such as the Arch of Constantine, the exterior of the Colosseum and the Imperial Forums, the Circus Maximus, the Baths of Caracalla, the Basilica of Saint Mary Major, the Pyramid of Cestius, and Castel Sant’Angelo. The tour will end at VATICAN CITY around 11:00 a. m. Afterward, our guide will offer an optional visit to explore the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel. At the end of the day, we’ll include a transfer to the popular Trastevere neighborhood, known for its cozy restaurants and lively atmosphere. Return to the hotel will be around 8:30 p. m.

day 11 - Rome, Florence

Today, we’ll leave Rome and head north, taking in the beautiful landscapes along the way. Upon reaching Florence, we’ll go directly to the stunning Piazzale Michelangelo for breathtaking views of the city. We will then walk toward the historic center where, after some time for lunch, we’ll enjoy a guided walking tour with a local expert through the historic center, visiting landmarks such as the Ponte Vecchio, the Duomo, and Piazza della Signoria. This city is like an openair museum. Afterward, you´ll have some free time to explore at your leisure. In the evening, you’ll have plenty of options for dinner, as this district offers many restaurants with a variety of international cuisines.

day 12 - Florence, Venice

Today, we’ll enjoy the stunning mountain landscapes as we cross the Apennines. Upon arriving in Venice, we’ll take a boat across the Giudecca Canal to the Island of Venice. With a local guide, we’ll visit the marvelous St. Mark’s Square. Afterwards, we’ll tour the Murano Glass Factory, where you’ll see the fascinating techniques used to create this ancient glass. You´ll have some free time to explore on your own. Accommodation will be in the Mestre district.

day 13 - Venice, Innsbruck, Salzburg

We will depart from Venice, traveling to Austria! Upon arriving in Innsbruck, you’ll have time to stroll through the historic city center and enjoy lunch in the Austrian Tyrolean capital. Afterward, we’ll journey along beautiful scenic roads through the mountains to Kitzbühel. Once there, you’ll have time to explore this picturesque village, a famous ski resort where snow can be enjoyed for most of the year. We’ll continue our journey to Salzburg, arriving by the end of the day. Note: If there are few travelers, we may take a train from Venice to Innsbruck.

day 14 - Salzburg, Lake Traunsee, Vienna

Today, we’ll get to know Austria better. During the morning, we´ll explore Salzburg, Mozart’s city. Its Renaissance and Baroque center is filled with beauty, all in the shadow of the grand castle. Next, we’ll travel through lakes and mountains to reach St. Wolfgang, a renowned pilgrimage site in Austria. We’ll then head to Traunkirchen, located beside the beautiful Traunsee Lake, where we’ll take an included cruise to see four of the lake´s castles before disembarking in Gmunden. Afterward, we’ll continue to Vienna, arriving in the evening.

day 15 - Vienna

Today, we’ll embark on a panoramic tour of this impressive city with a local guide. We’ll explore its majestic avenues, beautiful palaces, large parks and vibrant city center. In the afternoon, you’ll have free time to explore on your own. In the evening, we’ll include a transfer to the Grinzing district, an old winegrowing village now part of the city, known for its traditional taverns. You’ll have free time to dine in the area.

day 16 - Vienna, Budapest

After about three hours of travel, we’ll arrive in Budapest, the capital of Hungary. Our first stop will be the lively area of Váci utca, where you’ll have free time for lunch. After, we’ll kick off our exploration of Budapest with an included boat trip on the Danube River, with historic Buda on one bank and cosmopolitan Pest on the other. The views are unbeatable. Following this, we’ll begin a panoramic tour of the socalled "Queen of the Danube. " You’ll have some free time afterwards. In the evening, we’ll offer an optional outing to a Magyar show, with dinner included.

day 17 - Budapest, Bratislava, Prague

We will leave Budapest early and head for Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia, a charming city along the Danube with an attractive historic center. You´ll have time to explore and enjoy lunch. After, we’ll continue our journey to the Czech Republic, arriving in Prague in the evening. We’ll provide a transfer to the Old Town Square, a central spot that offers a fantastic introduction to Prague with its vibrant atmosphere and numerous tourist activities. You can have dinner at one of the many restaurants offering a variety of international cuisines, including Czech, Chinese, Indian, and Italian. Afterward, we’ll return to the hotel.

day 18 - Prague

Today, we’ll visit the capital, Prague, the Baroque jewel of Europe. Our local tour guide will lead an informative panoramic tour, highlighting the city’s most outstanding monuments. During the tour, there will be a visit to Prague Castle (admission included). After that, enjoy a boat ride on the Vltava River (included). In the afternoon, you’ll have free time to explore the city on your own.

day 19 - Prague, Pilsen, Rothenburg, Frankfurt

We’ll depart early from PRAGUE and stop in PILSEN, in western Bohemia, a city renowned for its beer. You’ll have time to stroll through its historic center, where you’ll find the Old Town Square, the cathedral, the Plague Column, and a Renaissanceera town hall. We’ll then cross into GERMANY and follow part of the Romantic Road. We’ll visit ROTHENBURG, a town that seems to come straight out of a fairy tale and is considered one of the most beautiful villages in the country. Afterward, we’ll head to FRANKFURT, the financial capital of Germany. After our arrival in the evening, enjoy free time in the historic city center, where you’ll find a wide variety of restaurants offering Indian, Asian, Italian, and international cuisines.

day 20 - Frankfurt

After breakfast, our journey will come to an end, leaving you with wonderful lasting memories.
