About Sujan

I am from the country of the Himalayas — Nepal. I grew up in a remote village in the Gorkha district and from an early age, I had a keen interest in traveling to different places. Once I completed my schooling, I set off trekking the famous destinations in Nepal including Everest Base Camp, Gokyo Valley, Langtang, Annapurna Base Camp, Annapurna Circuit, Upper Mustang, Poonhill, Mardi Himal, Manaslu and many others. I love traveling around the mountains and interacting with the cultures and lifestyles of different regions. The more I trek, the more I feel like going back to the mountains. A tour operator by profession, I joined my company at the beginning of 2014 to help other people find the best destinations in Nepal, Tibet, and Bhutan. It's my pleasure to assist people and to share with them the spectacular views of the mountains, the amazing wildlife and the unique heritage, cultures, and traditions of Nepal.

Best Travel Experience

I have traveled to many destinations in Nepal and have very unique experiences from each and every trip. Climbing atop mountains, encountering breathtaking panoramic views and engaging with the culture and tradition of all kinds of people living in Nepal are my top favorite experiences from my travels. Recently, I trekked to Everest Base Camp, one of the most popular trekking destinations in Nepal, located 5,310 meters above sea level. This was also my 10th trek in the Everest Region! It was an unforgettable experience, one I will remember for a lifetime. I spent time immersed in the culture of the local Sherpas and learned so much about the traditions of the people living in the Khumbu area. The Everest Base Camp trail became more difficult as I went higher, but the feeling that overcame me as I stood at the foot of the monumental Everest is something I can't simply describe in words!
