Morocco adventure tours are not to be missed if you are visiting the country. Start your adventure in the dunes of the Sahara Desert, and cross them either on a camel, quad bike, or 4x4 Jeep. Spend a night under the Saharan stars at a Bedouin camp, adventure on two wheels, and mountain bike down the Draa Valley with its imposing rock faces and rolling river. The exciting Atlantic coastline at Taghazout and Essaouira offers some of the best conditions in the world for high-octane watersports such as surfing and wind sailing. If all else fails, make your way to the heady heights of Mount Toubkal to enjoy unspoiled views at 4,617 meters above sea level. Honest insights from past guests on our Adventure Morocco tours

I booked this trip because it visited three cities I have wanted to visit for some time - Chefchaouen, Fes and Marrakech. They did not disappoint. Mohammed, the guide who was with us for the whole trip could not do enough for us and ensured we were safe. There was also a local guide for each city and they were top notch as well. I found the accommodation very comfortable - mainly in Riads but one night was spent in a lovingly restored Kasbah. I thoroughly recommend this trip.

The itinerary was a pleasant balance of free time against organized activities. The optional tours were very good choices; we did all of them. The Tour Director went out of his way to make sure everything went well and all questions were addressed.

7 days Mount Toubkal - fantastic experience

7 days was well worth the extra time to the long weekend. Amazing local guides, varied scenery and excellent food for a camping trip. the 7 days gave time acclimatise to the heat, to practice getting up at 0600 and to get used to camping. Plus the tour of Marrakesh on the last day was a nice end to the trip.

The tour was wonderful, with a good mix of seeing, doing with some walking to see sites. The range of activities was great, interesting as many are not common elsewhere. The accommodation was suitable, as the range is not vast in the country areas. Overall I'd happily recommend this tour to anyone, and would be happy to do it all again.

The tour takes you to the highlights of Morocco. My favorite memories are the Medina in Fes and the Sunset excursion to the Sahara Desert. Our guide was very informative. One downside of trip was all the traveling although there were breaks. There really was no time to enjoy the hotel amenities. Food was plentiful.Moroccan wine lacks complexity. Have enough small change coins for bathroom breaks

This was an amazing trip. We really felt like we had seen all of the highlights of Morocco. The tour guide was exceptional. Mohammed went out of his way to enhance every experience we had by introducing us to local people and added bits to the trip that weren’t on the itinerary because he was catering to our interest. Without doubt it was his knowledge that made the trip so special. It is a very full on trip if there is a lot to see in nine days but well worth the travelling. Our driver Abdul was also an absolute gem. Some of the roads were quite basic, but we always felt safe with him. A great trip.

Morocco Adventure Tours Highlights

  • Travel across Erg Chebbi and Erg Chigaga, the largest sand dunes in Morocco, on camelback for a relaxed experience, or up the ante with a quad bike. Once you reach the top of these 200-foot-tall dunes, you can sandboard down again.
  • Scaling the heights of Mount Toubkal is a feat to be proud of, especially if you undertake one of the Winter treks on your Morocco adventure tour.
  • Surf the waves on Morocco’s Atlantic coastline at Essaouira and enjoy a whole host of other water sports on offer. Or, get into the saddle for a horseback ride along the beach.
  • Try abseiling and rock climbing at Dadés Gorge or the Todra Gorge to enjoy these natural wonders up close.
See the majesty of the Sahara desert from above on a hot air balloon tour, or take to the skies above Marrakech for a unique look at this majestic city.

Travel Tips for Morocco Adventure Tours

  • Although most safety equipment will be provided on your adventure tour in Morocco, remember that some of these activities can be intense. As a result, you might not want to wear and ruin your best clothes on big activity days.
  • Remember to apply sunscreen regularly and generously as the majority of your Morocco adventure tour will take place in the great outdoors and in the desert where there is not much shade.
  • Your Morocco adventure tour may involve an overnight stay in the middle of the Sahara Desert. As temperatures at night here can drop massively, bring some warm clothes with you.
