Thoroughly enjoyed this trip to Morocco and would recommend. The route takes you across much of the country, with varied landscapes and so much to see and experience. It is quite a fast paced itinerary with a fair amount of road travel, but it is well organised and there is also downtime where you can explore some places at your own pace - I felt I was given enough information to be completely comfortable exploring alone (I was a solo traveller on the trip) and I always felt completely safe even in the busy medinas. Our tour leader Mohamed was very friendly, helpful, and always ready to share information about the country and answer questions. The local guides used were also good. Our driver Amin kept us all feeling safe and comfortable on the sometimes long drives (which have plenty of breaks built in). I returned feeling that I had had a fantastic taste of the country, and would be happy to return there to explore more.

Excellent trip, covering many of the wonderful aspects of life in Morocco. Mohammed our guide and Amine our driver were very good. I enjoyed all aspects of the trip, the camel ride, sleeping in the desert, the Kasbahs, meeting local families and the hike in Todra Gorge

I loved the whole trip. Hassan was so informative and I learned so much about Morocco. I really enjoyed the visit to the cave home & walking through the village. Also enjoyed the visit to the veterinary hospital. The fossil was so interesting. I loved staying in the desert tents & riding the camel. Loved the surprise stop to feed the monkeys (so cool). Marrakesh was my favorite city.

The itinerary is busy and a couple of long days on the bus. However, our tour guide, Hassan, made sure we had regular stops for bathroom breaks in very clean places that also allowed you to get a coffee, snack or souvenir!! Had a few stops to see incredible scenery including an Oasis!! Hassan accommodated so many of our requests and took good care of us. He is extremely knowledgeable about Morocco and shared so much information with us. If he is your tour guide, make sure you get him to tell you his story as to how he became a tour guide...fascinating. We had a stop at a place that sells and makes Rose water and aloe products...a great stop!! We did go to a homeopathic place to get argan oil items, beautiful soap made with orange blossom and moroccan spices!! Great prices and deals!! We had some unique hotels in beautiful settings. Our tents in the desert were incredible!! They had electricity, running water and AC!! The Souks (markets) are amazing. We got to see the date market, apples, olives and fish!! These markets sell everything from leather products, jewelry, woven products etc. I wish we were given time to shop in these markets!! That was disappointing. In Marrakech we were given an hour to shop the market or in a 3 story store that had all moroccan products. This store was pricier than the markets and you could not barter but you could use your credit card. You need cash in the markets!! The tannery is incredible to see but expensive and a hard selling if you show interest in anything. The rug place has incredible handmade rugs and they are pricey so if this is something you want, be prepared to pay for the quality and they pack it up and will ship!! Again, a bit of a hard sell. The side excursions are worth paying for except the first dinner and show, I found the show/entertainment tired but the Riad is beautiful. The final dinner in Marrakech was better and the entertainment was great. Our hotel was changed in Cadablanca to a Hilton and it was lovely. The Gray Boutique hotel is "tired" and I had to keep asking for items such as a blow dryer, to fix my TV, extra towels. I would highly recommend this 11 day tour. It really shows you the beauty and history of Morocco and we got up close with camels at a well/watering hole...so cool!!

Great well thought out tour. Excellent guide who stayed with us the whole time and met the needs of the group. Local guides also excellent. Really had a feel for the real Morocco by the end of the tour. Drives also excellent and felt safe the whole time

This is an opportunity to discover Morocco from the imperial cities to the remote villages. Camel riding in the Sahara desert. Souks and medinas presenting the most amazing assault on every sense! Local guides take pride in showing off their palace or medinas and swimming pools offer opportunities to cool down at the end of busy days. Breakfasts are plentiful and the sights to be seen as you traverse this amazing country are truly wonderful.
