Morocco 16-Day Tours and Trips

My wife Cristina and I just returned from a wonderful trip to Morocco. The trip was interesting, but it became even more fabulous thanks to our leader, Mohamed Ait Lmoud.

BEST TRIP EVER!!! Everyone should visit Morocco, it is such a diverse and beautiful country filled with the most friendly people and this tour is the most perfect way to see it! I can?t imagine having a better experience than what I had on this tour!

I've always been unsure about travelling with a tour group but our tour through Morrocco has convinced me it's absolutely a great way to travel when you are short on time! Our tour leader made our time unforgettable and created an environment where everyone in our group felt like family. It was one of the most fun travel experiences I've ever had and will absolutely be doing a tour with G-adventures again!

My first g adventures has been one to remember!! Morocco has been a country on my list to travel to for the longest time, thus I?ve done a lot of research on it. I was pleasantly surprised to find this your and see that it went to all the destinations I was hoping to travel to! I feel I am going home satisfied that I now had a good understanding of the country and culture, and have seen a good portion of the country! The CEO was amazing! And very knowledgeable and helpful, he has kind and I could tell he enjoyed his job and spending time with us as a group! I will truly treasure my experiences and friendships I?ve made here forever!

Highly recommend this trip. A really varied trip showing the best that Morocco has to offer. Marrakech is very manic and a bit 'in your face' but thanks to an excellent tour leader and local guide the group were able to find our way to such hidden gems as the Majorelle Gardens (Yves St Laurent's former gardens) and the 'Secret' Garden. The trip up to the Atlas Mountains and stay in Douar Samra was nothing short of magical, I got to stay in the Tree House while others stayed in the very unusual and individual rooms in the house or annex. Meals were a delight thanks to the marvellous cooking of Rashida the resident cook and the atmospheric use of candles (there is no electricity in the main house) and traditional low level seating and tables. Your luggage is transported the final distance by donkey and there are also ducks and all vegetables are grown in the Douar's vegetable garden. Fabulous views and sunsets and great walking in the mountains. However the gem is absolutely Essaouira. I had never heard of this place before but it is the most delightful and fascinating seaside town. Again great orientation tour from local guide Rashida and plenty of time to enjoy the shopping, sweeping sandy beach, bars, restaurants and busy exciting fishing harbour. Our leader, Abdul, was very informative and accommodating and great fun. Morocco is well worth a visit and I will be back!

This was an amazing adventure and a great way to see as much of the country as possible, experience the culture, learn about the history, and meet the friendly locals. We had a great tour leader and driver and stayed in some authentic accommodation sites from an auberge in Merzouga, a bedouin camp in the Sahara Desert, a kasbah in the High Atlas Mountains and a riad in Essaouira.
