Excellent

My trip to Morocco was an unforgettable experience, filled with rich culture, warm hospitality, and incredible moments that I will cherish forever. From bustling cities to serene landscapes, every stop on our journey offered a deeper connection to the country and its people. One of the most rewarding aspects was the opportunity to truly immerse myself in the local culture—spending time with local families, learning about their traditions, and gaining insights into their way of life. The highlight of my trip was undoubtedly the medina in Fez. Wandering through its winding alleyways, surrounded by centuries-old craftsmanship, vibrant markets, and the hum of daily life, was like stepping into a living piece of history. Every turn revealed something new and awe-inspiring, making it an experience I’ll never forget. Morocco’s culinary scene was another standout, with flavors as rich and diverse as the country itself. From aromatic spices to slow-cooked perfection, every meal was a delight—but if I had to choose a favorite, it would be the goat tagine. The depth of flavor and tender texture made it an absolute must-try! This journey was more than just a trip; it was an adventure filled with connection, discovery, and unforgettable memories. I’m incredibly grateful for the experiences and the amazing people who made it so special.

Packed schedule allowing you to see the best of Inland Morocco. All types of landscape, mountains, terrain, forests, lakes, desert and waterfalls. Islamic and French influence with Berber’s culture and Berber’s language. Sahara’s experience- best of the best. The group leader and the driver - well done for staying positive, energetic and calm and focused at the same time. My first time in Morocco and I loved it.

This was my very first group tour holiday. I opted for the Upgraded- Discover Morocco because quite frankly I like to have 'quality' accommodation rather than hostels. There was one hotel downgrade due to not enough space for all that I did not find was agreeable and certainly not on a par with our other Riads and Kasbah. I hope Explore do not ever consider using this particular hotel on their upgraded tour again. Looking back, I feel I was very disappointed, but the rest of the tour had been wonderfully overwhelming that I had many more fabulous things to experience. Our Tour leader Boubker Boutkhoum, had stepped in to cover for the original tour leader and I get the impression that this may have been short notice for him. Boubker was kind, caring, an excellent organiser as well as being a diligent mediator. He was often often phoning ahead liaising with the accommodations, booking restaurants for us and even finding some that sold wine! (This was important for our group). His passion for his country, religion and being a Berber shone through with so much integrity and intelligence that everyone loved him and learned so much from him. I felt he was really looking after us all and seemed to be calm, have so much patience and a good sense of humour.

MARRAKECH & THE SAHARA

Morocco was my first Exodus experience, and if this trip was anything to go on, it won't be my last. It is a truly beautiful country, and one that can be more fully exploited by this trip, taking in the variety of everything the desert, mountains and city has to offer...

Epic trip !

This trip surpassed all my expectations. There were 15 of us in total ranging from age 26 to 65 and all strangers. Within a couple of days we were like a team of old friends laughing and teasing each other and being supportive and kind to each other. The scenery was spectacular and we enjoyed sunrises , sunsets, swimming in a rock pool, picnicking at the highest peak, strenuous walking , we saw nomads and a few villagers but not a single other tourist the whole trip. The children came out to meet us and to chat and play if we walked through villages and it often felt like we were witnessing life from a bygone age. The tents were sound and kept the wind out on the first 2 nights . Once we camped in the valleys the wind dropped.

Fantastic Morocco!

My 10-day Grand Morocco Tour from north to south was an unforgettable experience. From the enchanting blue streets of Chefchaouen to the stunning sand dunes of the Sahara, each day brought something new and exciting. The trip was well-organized, with a perfect balance of culture, history, and adventure. What I appreciated most was the carefully planned itinerary, which took us through Morocco’s most beautiful sites, from the Roman ruins of Volubilis to the majestic Kasbah of Aït Benhaddou. The guides were knowledgeable and passionate about their country, providing us not only with historical insights but also a deeper understanding of Moroccan culture and traditions. The private transport service was comfortable, and our driver was always punctual and attentive. The accommodations were high quality, with stunning riads and hotels that perfectly captured the spirit of the country. One of the highlights was the Sahara experience. The camel trek to the desert camps was magical, and stargazing under the clear night sky was something I will never forget. The local music in the desert villages added a unique atmosphere to this enchanting place.
