The itinerary was great. The only disappointment was that we were separated from the Splendors group before we left for Cairo. We got less time with friends we had made, even though we all went to Abu Simbel - just at different times.

I'm glad I chose the 9 day wonders instead of the 12 day splendors as the only big difference is 1 half day in aswan and 2 days sailing back down the Nile. It was compact and busy. I do think, however, that Abu simbel should be included that way no special plans need to be arranged for those who stay behind and miss possibly the best site of the trip. I also think the tipping gets out of hand with the tour directors, the bus drivers and the boat crew. Also, suppers the last 3 nights in cairo are not included and then we are told to eat in the hotel for safety...well that's a cash cow. If we are advised to stay in the hotel then give us vouchers or something but it was a ripoff. Amd watch out for the ATM at the Marriott...it doesn't give you much time to get your money once the little door opens...be quick.

The itinerary was perfect. It was well balanced with free time. You see all the things you want to see and get to explore on your own at the sites following the tour. In-between time is utilized well with relaxing moments and the ability to rest. There are some early mornings, but that wasn’t an issue. Getting up early allows for more time, more sites, less people at the sites, and less heat/sun.

The first day is too much. We arrive in Cairo at 5:00 pm. It took two hours to get to the Cairo Marriott Hotel. There was a group meeting at 7:00 to 8:00 pm. THEN, WE HAD TO LEAVE AT 3:00 AM (YES, THAT'S RIGHT, 3:00 AM) TO GO BACK TO THE AIRPORT TO CATCH OUR FLIGHT FOR THE CRUISE!!!! That was entirely too much for Day One!

My daughter and I have been planning a trip to Egypt for years and decided to add on a trip to Jordan right before we booked. This trip did not disappoint, our guides in both countries were incredible. They shared cultural, historical and religious knowledge with us that led to a greater understanding of not only the history of both of these amazing countries but also of the people that live in them now. All of the destinations on our trip wowed us, and being in a group of only 4 we were able to ask questions and learn so much from our guides. Even though we traveled at a time of political unrest in the region we never once felt unsafe. Staying at a diverse assortment of accommodations also allowed us some unique experiences. We created memories that will last a lifetime and it doesn't get better than that.

Smooth, Seamless, and Truly Exceptional A 10/10 Egypt Experience

We traveled as a group of 8 and had what I can confidently say was the smoothest travel experience of my life thanks to the travel team. From the moment we landed, everything was handled with precision and care. Mahmoud greeted us right off the plane and personally guided us through immigration and customs. It was incredibly efficient and stress-free. Throughout the trip, Mahmoud stayed in constant contact, ensuring every detail was running smoothly and adjusting the schedule when needed. The itinerary was thoughtfully planned each day was packed with incredible sites, but never felt overwhelming. Yes, some days were long, but 100% worth it. Communication was excellent from start to finish. Even mid-trip, we were able to add extra activities on the fly, and the team accommodated us effortlessly. Our guides were outstanding. Michael in Cairo and Giza was extremely knowledgeable and communicated clearly he answered every question with patience and insight. Mohamed, who accompanied us during the Nile Cruise between Luxor and Aswan, was personable, relaxed, and brought the ancient sites to life with his storytelling. The drivers throughout were also fantastic. While most didn’t speak much English, they were consistently punctual, professional, and skilled, even navigating Egypt’s wild traffic with ease and confidence. A quick tip: If you’re on a tighter budget, do a bit of research before booking extra experiences. Some optional add-ons are absolutely worth the cost, while others may be more economical to do independently though we still relied on the company for reliable transport. Overall, this was a 10/10 experience. Everything felt personalized, smooth, and safe. I’m incredibly happy we chose this company I’d recommend them without hesitation to anyone planning a trip to Egypt.
