Egypt Tours in June 2026

First and foremost, I felt safe, very safe. Having private tour guides and drivers were a big part of what made me feel comfortable the whole time. Secondly, I could not have found a more comprehensive and entertaining tour. We did it all: • Crawled inside ancient pyramids; • Snorkeled around amazing coral reefs; • Were awed by the beautiful fish seen in a glass-bottomed Red Sea submarine; • Rode camels; • Cruised down the Nile; • Shopped in authentic markets; • Enjoyed a hot air balloon flight over Luxor; • Visited very posh luxury resorts; • And, not least,stayed in truly first-class hotels! On my birthday, we enjoyed a yacht cruise and dinner with gourmet food. I danced with the crew. I could go on and on. I cannot emphasize enough how much I loved this trip!

Insight has the product but it took the amazing tour director to bring it to life and exceeded our expectations. Very informative and opened our eyes to Egypt before and now.

We traveled as a group of 8 and had what I can confidently say was the smoothest travel experience of my life thanks to the travel team. From the moment we landed, everything was handled with precision and care. Mahmoud greeted us right off the plane and personally guided us through immigration and customs. It was incredibly efficient and stress-free. Throughout the trip, Mahmoud stayed in constant contact, ensuring every detail was running smoothly and adjusting the schedule when needed. The itinerary was thoughtfully planned each day was packed with incredible sites, but never felt overwhelming. Yes, some days were long, but 100% worth it. Communication was excellent from start to finish. Even mid-trip, we were able to add extra activities on the fly, and the team accommodated us effortlessly. Our guides were outstanding. Michael in Cairo and Giza was extremely knowledgeable and communicated clearly he answered every question with patience and insight. Mohamed, who accompanied us during the Nile Cruise between Luxor and Aswan, was personable, relaxed, and brought the ancient sites to life with his storytelling. The drivers throughout were also fantastic. While most didn’t speak much English, they were consistently punctual, professional, and skilled, even navigating Egypt’s wild traffic with ease and confidence. A quick tip: If you’re on a tighter budget, do a bit of research before booking extra experiences. Some optional add-ons are absolutely worth the cost, while others may be more economical to do independently though we still relied on the company for reliable transport. Overall, this was a 10/10 experience. Everything felt personalized, smooth, and safe. I’m incredibly happy we chose this company I’d recommend them without hesitation to anyone planning a trip to Egypt.

Visiting these historical sites was amazing. Athens, Istanbul, and Cairo were unforgettable. The guides’ passion and knowledge added a lot, making each location feel even more special. The accommodations were cozy, and I enjoyed the company of the group. Thanks Eskapas for this amazing adventure!

The “second day” the flight is SUPER early and you have to leave the hotel at 4 am. That was not communicated anywhere and we didn’t arrive at the hotel u til after 11 pm the night before. It made the morning very difficult! Also, it would be helpful if there was a place by the day noting if women needed to cover shoulders/knees or men knees. When I was packing and googling, it said that at Kom Ombo (and most of the temples) it was recommended to have shoulder and knees covered, but when we got there I was told we didn’t need it. I had a lot more pants packed then I needed and that would have been helpful to know when I actually needed to wear more conservative clothing or having my hair covered. Overall the itinerary was good. We saw a lot and had a great guide! We were on the Steinberger cruise ship - I would not recommend that one again. Very limited. We were on Thai ship with another group from Trafalgar that paid less for the tour and we had no extras. We allowed one drink at dinner and one bottle of water.. anything more we had to pay for. They didn’t have coffee/tea available throughout the day for free. It seemed like they were nickel and diming the guests. I have been on other River cruises and unlimited water, beverages at dinner, and feee coffee/tea throughout the day in the lounge was accessible.

I have never taken in so much history in such a short time. I really enjoyed the whole experience. Our tour leader was the best I have ever had the privilege to no.
