I have travelled to many places over the years, and I have to say that one of the most memorable trips I have ever taken was when I went to Cyprus. I started the trip on my own, but I met up with friends later on, and also ended up meeting new people. The trip definitely exceeded my expectations, I did not expect that much beauty and serenity in one place! While there, I visited countless beaches, engaged with local people and tried out delicious foods, some of which was the island's traditional dishes. The best parts were discovered off the beaten track; places where wild donkeys wandered around, and where I found random bakeries in the most unexpected places, and boy they made some of the best bread I have ever had. I do believe there are hidden treasures wherever you go, so seize the chance and go after them, you won't regret it!
