The whole experience was wonderful. Well planned, good pace, good balance of activity and time to relax. Tour Leader was especially knowledgeable and imparted so much detail about the ancient Egyptian Pharoahs and their customs and practices. Loved the Nile cruise. Delicious food. Cairo museum was outstanding. More time needed to enjoy the exhibits. Would thoroughly recommend this trip.

A most enjoyable trip. It was quite full on but thats OK for me. It was well organised. The ancient sites were amazing and brought to life by our very good leader Mohammed who told excellent stories which made it interesting. I was disappointed with the pollution we experienced on the Nile cruise, not just on the water but the diesel fumes from the many cruise ships which all seem to move at the same time. The train journey was an adventure as many people mention, but thankfully its only one night and it gave us plenty to talk about. Take dollars if you can, otherwise you need to take out thousands of (Egyptian) pounds from the cashpoints to cover all the extras.

Great trip led by a wonderful leader who was extremely knowledgeable and patient. It is action packed and full on, so be prepared for that. We got to visit the brand new Grand Museum which was absolutely lovely. We enjoyed our time visiting all of the pyramids, museums, and cruising down the Nile River, as well as the temples and tombs. This trip had been on my husband’s bucket list for 30 years, so he was delighted by each and every visit. The ballon ride was one of my favorite add ons. Highly recommend!
