day 1 - Arrival in Cairo
Arrive at Cairo International Airport and meet our representatives. Transfer to your hotel by an air-conditioned car. Stay overnight in Cairo.
day 2 - Great Pyramid of Giza & Museum of Egyptian Antiquities
Have your breakfast and head for the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities. On display in the museum is the largest and most precious collection of Egyptian art in the world, some dating back over 5,000 years. Over 250,000 genuine artefacts are in the museum, including an exhibit dedicated to Tutankhamen featuring the treasures that were enclosed in his tomb for over 3,500 years.
Then visit the Great Pyramid of Giza next. See the pyramids of Cheops, Chephren & Mykerions, of which Cheops is the largest. Next is a close-up look at the Sphinx – a huge funeral complex guarded by the legendary creature with the body of a lion and the face of king Chephren.
Stay overnight at your hotel in Cairo.
day 3 - Cairo - Aswan (flight) & Nile River cruise
Transfer to the domestic airport in the morning and catch your flight to Aswan. Head for the Aswan High Dam upon arrival. Continue to the temple on the island of Philae that is devoted to goddesses Isis and Hathor. Boarding your cruise and enjoy your afternoon lunch while sailing on the River Nile.
Sail to Kom Ombo and visit the temple shared by the two gods Sobek and Haroeris. Transfer to Edfu and spend your night there. Have your dinner on board and enjoy a disco party after that.
day 4 - Nile River cruise
Have your breakfast and visit the Temple of Edfu, dedicated to the Egyptian god Horus. Sail to Luxor after that. An afternoon tea will be served in the cruise as well as dinner. You have a galabya party after dinner. Stay in your cruise in Luxor tonight.
day 5 - Nile River cruise
Visit the West Bank of Luxor and see the Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon, consisting of two gigantic sitting statues representing Pharaoh Amenopis III facing the Nile. Explore the Valley of Kings and see the tombs belonging to rulers of various dynasties.
day 6 - Luxor - Cairo (flight)
Disembark the cruise after breakfast. Transfer to the airport and catch your flight back to Cairo. Transfer to your hotel upon arrival. Stay overnight in Cairo.
day 7 - Final Departure
Have breakfast and prepare for your departure. We will transfer you to the airport for your flight back home.
