Egypt Tours in September 2026

We have thoroughly enjoyed our time in Egypt - thanks to our lovely tour guide Adel who was the best, and our amazing group gelling so well together. It’s a very well put together trip including all the major cultural attractions that you would want to visit and we learned so much due to Adel’s expertise and knowledge. For British groups I think the addition of the Cataract Hotel would enhance the experience - we loved it there. And possibly the home of Howard Carter which we did during time we added at the end. Ramadan was such a knowledgeable Egyptologist. I could not imagine doing this trip without him. Not for someone with mobility issues. Heat as high as 39 degrees makes it challenging even for the fittest. Early starts to get there before the crowds and heat was a great testament to local knowledge. Valley of the Kings was an experience that I will never forget. If you have the time, try to take advantage of the option of attending Alexandria. I have come home with a piece of Egypt in my heart

Hello good evening. We had just an absolutely marvelous time! From the moment that Hesham picked us up at the airport and throughout the full 3 days, we were simply delighted. Hesham was so great to work with us and adjust the itinerary according to our abilities and physical well being. He told us which sites were very important and which ones were closed so that we could choose. He never acted hurried, or tried to push us. And yet we saw so very much! He is very knowledgeable and we learned so much. In many ways, the trip was a historical journey into ancient Egypt, as expected. But what we did not expect was the deeply spiritual nature of what we saw. We were able to connect with the origins of our own religion through the ancient religions we saw depicted. Hesham was just great and his English is excellent so we felt that we were not losing knowledge in translation.The tour itself was extremely well laid out! Thank you for taking our considerations into account as you shaped the trip. We definitely were glad to see the dam and Aswan before we boarded for the cruise. And that was just fantastic! The attendants on the boat were so very very helpful and gracious. The room was super comfortable and we loved the large window. We also were glad for the comfortable bed. What a difference that makes. What a beautiful river. Unfortunately for us, the wind was pretty strong and a bit cold so we did not stay up on the deck very much, so it was great to have the room as an option. And we felt that the food was very good and quite a variety. It was just great!As for all the sites , it was beyond imagination. I cannot tell you how amazing it was. We had to cut back on some of them due to the stamina of my husband, but we felt that we got the most out of everything. As I said above, Hesham was great and he also was able to get us in the front of the lines, which also helped. Thank you so much for planning such an important and spectacular itinerary.And thank you for the two hotels, the one in Luxor was spectacular and they were so gracious to allow us to stay for an extra two hours in our room and then to use the facilities until we had to leave for the airport. The one in Cairo was perfect location, but just basic. All we needed for that night, though.All the drivers were excellent, careful drivers, and very friendly.All in all, we cannot say enough about the amazing time we had. The 7 nights on the cruise ship was fantastic meaning we didn’t have to pack and move hotels too often. We really lucked in with our fantastic tour guide . His expertise and knowledge was outstanding and added huge value to our experience. He had the most respectful, calm and friendly speaking voice. It was a pleasure to tour with him. The staff on board the ship were fun and obliging. Food was very good on board. The cabin and public areas of the ship were well maintained.

exceeded our expectation of our trip to Egypt. We were overwhelmed by his knowledge, pride and compassion for his culture, traditions and people.. I journaled most nights to capture the information that he so freely shared with us about the temples, museums, mosque, religion, etc. We have already given your contact information to some family members and friends. We highly recommend this journey to Egypt.

The first downfall was not being able to tip prior to the trip. I felt like we were tipping every single day, multiple times a day. I would also recommend that as a traveler you always have small bills on you, as you have to pay to use the restroom - EVEN inside of the museums you have already paid to go into. You have to get a Visa when you enter the country - do not stress! You can easily do this at the airport for $25USD. The trip itself was wonderful. I traveled as a single female and never felt uncomfortable. I enjoyed traveling from the North to South of Egypt. I think that the optional trip to Abu Simbel was nice, but defiantly not worth the money and time spent traveling (by multiple planes). The museums, Nile cruise, home visit were all amazing! Egypt is defiantly a country to see!
