Cairo, Alexandria and Luxor tour
We spent four full days in Egypt. Ayoub our very friendly tour leader was waiting for us at the airport which was wonderful and took us to our hotel. He outlined what would be happening on the trip and went through the options we could take up. Our hotel was clean and comfortable and very near the new Cairo museum. The next day our very informative friendly guide Bisho took us around the pyramids , Sphinx and old museum as well as a couple of places to buy souvenirs. Ayoub organised an interesting evening exploring local food and the old Cairo city. The next day we were driven to Alexandria where our local guide Nancy met us to go through the main features of Alexandria. She was great, easy to communicate with and very helpful. The following morning we had a very early flight to Luxor where Muhmood our amazingly knowledgable and helpful Egyptologist took us to the Valley of the Kings and Queens and surrounding areas. That night we spent the evening in the exciting Steigenberger Nile Palace which had a great view of the Nile. The following day he took us through the Luxor and Karnak temples. All the guides were knowledgable and very attentive and fun to be with. It was a very relaxed time.
9-day tour of Egypt
Our tour of Egypt was amazing from start to finish. We really appreciated all help you provided in planning and customizing the tour to our desires. We found your staff very helpful throughout, expediting our passage through customs to get a the visa, and making sure travel from hotel and between sites was easy. Each guide provided was an expert and helped us gain a greater appreciation for both the history of ancient Egypt and the people of modern Egypt. We saw so many incredible things and learned so much about your country. I do hope to visit again sometime in the future.
Great trip & company!
We chose the 10 day Egypt and River Nile cruise. This tour company started to live up to it's stellar reputation the moment we exited our gate at the airport. Where other companies might pick you up outside the airport, our representative greeted us with a smile and company sign in hand. He whisked us through immigration, customs, and the visa process in a flash. We felt special from the start. The VIP treatment continued with the private air conditioned car that was waiting outside for us. At our hotel our rep had us take a seat while he checked us in. Our itinerary for the rest of the week was explained and we were given a copy along with his contact information in the case we needed anything else. The hotel was 5 star and it lived up to its standards. Hot breakfasts were included each morning, with some other meals throughout the tour. We took a food tour our first day to learn what our menu choices would be while we were in country. Waleed became our personal guide at that point and he stayed with us while in Cairo. He was a knowledgeable professional who spoke English well, and he easily adjusted to our needs whether part of the tour or not - things like a stop at the pharmacy or changing our itinerary. Having a personal guide made all the difference in the world when it came to understanding the different culture and seeing 4000 year old sites. He was also invaluable in keeping some of the pesky peddlers at bay. Our cruise ship was also top notch, and although the boat was a bit dated it was nicer than many others we saw on the river. Our room was comfortable and the food was served buffet style, but with a good variety. The overall itinerary was a bit heavy for us, but our guide let us miss or switch up sites with no fuss. We chose to have a private guide on the cruise, a good move to know what was going on each step of the way and to explain as we went. We were treated as VIP's on a private tour the whole time - no sharing buses with a group. When I considered the cost of meals, the cruise, entrance fees to the sites, and transportation to and from everywhere (Cairo airport is an hour drive) the price of our package was an excellent deal. From the managers on line, to the guides and car drivers, I would highly recommend this company to anyone.
Tots adventures
Enjoyed 10 day tours around cairo by Mohammed. Very knowledgeable, casual and flexible guide, the kind you need for crazy cairo. Enjoyed sites with much character and enjoyment by mohammed included old cairo, islamic and coptic sites, explored the touristy bazars of cairo selling all sorts of goods which prices can be bargained for, just dont carry much money when you agree to price and there a chance you score it cheaper. I did make mistake of buying some spices but not realizing until after the day that taking spices in a clear tied up bag with no labelling wont necessary pass through immigration in Australia. To make your tours fun and engaging, choose Mohammed of this tour company for your tours but It good also to take note that during your tour of giza pyramids, be clear to what your after as i ended up with a 2min camel ride over short distance with a child handler who seemed more interested in tips then properly guiding the camel and at times even hitting the camel. Mohammed was very good in providing another day for the pyramids complimentary. Do note while your guided at pyramids your ok, but as soon your alone, your harassed consistently by locals offering there services who try to guilt you into accepting there offer. IT'S HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TOUR AND COMPANY!!!
