Colombia 15-Day Tours and Trips

My trip was amazing! I loved every day and was totally consumed by the Colombian culture! The itinerary is really varied so you experience so many different landscapes and activities. For most of the trip (the first 2/3) we hardly saw any other tourist groups in particular when visiting all the Archaeological Parks. We were often the only group there so it felt really special. Our guide and subsequent local guides to the areas we visited were all really interesting and it was a joy interacting with the locals and practicing speaking Spanish .

Really enjoyed this holiday. Lots of variety. Organisation went very well. Tour leader Andres was excellent. Only issue was an incorrect itinerary - which states a visit to Pablo Escobar's house in Medellin, which never happened and local tour guide said was a joke. Explore leader said it couldn't be done. So I'm raising a complaint about this as it's clearly a real draw for Medellin

Tough question This Colombia experience is well worth the cost and gives a great overall feel of the country. We were out there meeting local people in each location was we went into some depth of the socio-economic issues.

Andras was very enthusiastic hard working and caring. He always wanted to give that little bit more. Sometimes instructions were a little bit muddled or contained a bit too much information, but he was always willing to answer questions and he made sure we came to love Colombia. I found the country very interesting and the tour very varied and colourful. It definitely exceeded my expectations.

This was the best trip for me sp far. I got to know a country that has so much to give. The Colombian peaple and the i digenous communties welcomed us with open arms and we felt so safe all the time. It would be good to spend less time driving but I can’t see a way around it.More time in Medellín would be nice.The hotel there was lovely but very out of the way.We arrived by 3 but did nothing that afternoon which was partly our fault.My preference if staying in that hotel would be for the guide to take us to the nearby subway station and suggest an interesting close neighborhood to go to for us to walk around and eat dinner.He did point out the station from the bus but in that concrete jungle all we were able to find was an uninteresting mall.We did a lot of interesting experiences but I would recommend that the botanical garden be included and skip the cooking class and shorten the coffee experience in the coffee region.
