Colombia is the second most bio-diverse country in the world behind Brazil. The landscape is truly breath-taking. Hilly / mountainous and very green and lush. A bit like New Zealand only with lots more trees, really beautiful. We felt safe the entire time, it's reputation for being a "dodgy place" is no longer justified, the days of drugs and violence are in the past.

If you want to see all Colombia has to offer, this is the trip! From the coast to the cloud forest, you do get to experience SO much culture on this trip. The leader was brilliant and the locals all so very friendly.

Amazing intro to Columbia! I have been raving about Columbia to all of my family and friends and telling them about how beautiful, sophisticated, cosmopolitan and safe it is for tourists now. I was blown away by the modern architecture and the historically preserved architecture as well as the beauty of the mountains, lakes and beaches. There is a cultural richness and pride that you can see and feel in every area - and it shines through in the public art, local music and dance, the food and in the spirit of the people. We have done many G Adventures but this was our first Geluxe style tour. The trip still retains some of the typical G Adventure elements that test your fitness and get the adrenaline pumping contrasted with 4-5 star accommodations. The Brown Hotel- Guatape' was indeed OMG!
