Hi Happy traveler!

I am originally from France, even though South America has been my home for quite some time now. After traveling around Chile, Peru and Argentina, I finally arrived in Colombia, and it was love at first sight.

How could I not fall for its warm tropical climate, stunning landscapes and cheerful people? Everything here seemed more intense — the colors more vivid, the music livelier, the laughs more sincere... I stayed and never left!

I live in Medellin now, the "city of eternal spring" nested in deep green mountains, and I enjoy every opportunity to wander around Colombia to discover new hidden treasures and meet new amazing people, from the highest mountain tops to the hottest Caribbean beaches. Colombia is full of surprises and I keep being fascinated by it, as I am sure you will be too!

My specialties are tailor-made trips and private experiences in Colombia, as well as family and nature/culture trips. I am particularly passionate about history. My favorite destinations are Cartagena, because of its historical background and Caribbean vibe, and the coffee region for its mild climate and amazing environment.

Marius's best travel experience

Have you ever heard of the Island of Gorgona? Neither have most Colombians. However, I had a chance to visit this place and found it to be a very fascinating island. Located in the Pacific Ocean near the Colombian coast, it was originally home to a penitentiary, but now it is one of the most beautiful places in Colombia. Gorgona is a shelter for incredible biodiversity; not only can you observe the endemic fauna and flora but you can also watch whales between July and October, an experience I was able to have while having breakfast in my eco-lodge.
