It would be good to spend less time driving but I can’t see a way around it.More time in MedellĂn would be nice.The hotel there was lovely but very out of the way.We arrived by 3 but did nothing that afternoon which was partly our fault.My preference if staying in that hotel would be for the guide to take us to the nearby subway station and suggest an interesting close neighborhood to go to for us to walk around and eat dinner.He did point out the station from the bus but in that concrete jungle all we were able to find was an uninteresting mall.We did a lot of interesting experiences but I would recommend that the botanical garden be included and skip the cooking class and shorten the coffee experience in the coffee region.

A thoroughly enjoyable trip aptly named Contrasts of Colombia. The itinerary was varied and provided a good introduction to this beautiful country. Andres was an excellent guide - kind and funny with a lot of knowledge of his country and I learnt so much that I didn’t know before I went. Highlights for me were the Chicamocha canyon, Cocora Valley, climbing the Piedra del Penol, Comune 13 in Medellin, and the colourful towns of Guatape and Cartagena. But I actually enjoyed everything. Would have liked more time to explore Medellin but apart from that the trip was well structured. Highly recommend!

I had a wonderful time traveling with G to Colombia. The CEOs were wonderful, and G always seems to attract likeminded travellers who I thoroughly enjoy my time with. As a 30-something year old woman, I completely recommend taking a Classic tour, as there is a wonderful mix of age ranges that add so much character to the tour. The tour to Colombia included a great mix of smaller towns and larger cities, and I felt the pacing was perfect. While the accommodations could be improved, I had such a wonderful time, and would highly recommend the tour to others.
