Australia Adventure Trips

We weren't too sure about travelling in a coach, but the urge to see Lake Eyre in full flood was stronger and AAT Kings SA Outback Adventue was the perfect trip to do so. The communications were frequent and helpful, the paperwork explaining the trip and the sights we would see was informative. And then there were our guides Anna and Terry (Driver). They, together with our fellow travellers, made the trip so much fun and enjoyable. Cannot thank them enough! Every aspect of the trip was good, from the travel spiel, to the places we visited, the people we travelled with, the people we met along the way, the sights you see (amazing!!!!), and the food you eat. Every time we hear Sweet Caroline from here on in will remind us of this wonderful trip. And you know your trip was the best when you really don't want to farewell your fellow travellers and your guides.

Great time. Interesting and well worth it. Saw and learnt a lot. Great guide and driver. Enjoyed the experience. Need to have an average fitness level or you miss experiences. Planning the next one.

Be prepared for a lot of travelling, some days for up to six hours but comfort breaks are built in and relevant videos are played on the coach. Some accommodation is better than others but all was clean and comfortable. We saw and experienced lots of things we would have missed had we arranged the trip ourselves. The tour director and driver were excellent and very helpful and knowledgeable.

Great coach trip with Nellie Sullivan and driver Stuart McPherson Nellie was a great knowledgeable entertaining and efficient tour guide. She kept us in good spirits and always had excursions to take us on. Her knowledge and local connections were obvious and aided in making the stopovers a great experiences for all to enjoy. Thank you Nellie and keep on keeping on!

The trip was amazing. Saw so many places and met lots of lovely people. The tour has long days as you have to cover great distances some days but it is worth it for the varied landscapes and experiences that are on offer. Taking a camel ride along cable beach at sunset. Walking on shell beach, seeing dolphins, turtles, rays and incredible wildlife. Snorkelling, swimming in fern pool in Dale Gorge, walking among the pinnacles and finishing the tour with an entertaining talk by Derek an aboriginal. Carolyn. Tour director had so much knowledge to impart and took us to some incredible places. Terry the driver was amazing and kept us on the road and topped up with water. Nothing was too much for them. The accommodation varied, from luxury to a miner’s cabin but they were all clean and did the job. Remember we were at times in very remote areas and there is not a lot of choice. Embrace the experience. Would recommend taking the tour if you want to experience Western Australia.

I had never participated in an organised tour like this and can now say I'd definitely do it again. Especially with AAT Kings. They are so professional and accommodating to all travellers needs. They ensured our experience was absolutely fantastic. In fact, I plan on joining them again for their 15 day Adelaide to Darwin tour. 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟
