It is a long journey, the tour director Caroline is excellent and displayed a knowledge of people of the land both natives and settlers, she linked us with the geographical vistas and the nuances of the inhabitants of past and present. Terry, the driver was not only skilled but with patience and helpful. The tour director and the driver made a profound impression of the journey. We now have a connection with that part of Australia.
I had never participated in an organised tour like this and can now say I'd definitely do it again. Especially with AAT Kings. They are so professional and accommodating to all travellers needs.
