After a lunch by the coast, have your camera ready as you travel along Indian Ocean Drive to elegant Geraldton. The second day of this one-week Australia itinerary begins in Kalbarri National Park, where you’ll have the chance to admire the Nature’s Window rock arch before heading to Monkey Mia in Sharks Bay Marine Park, home to 2,000 friendly and shallows-dwelling dolphins. You’ll also get to visit the odd formations known as stromatolites, unbelievably built over thousands of years by colonies of bacteria. Continuing on to Coral Bay, tour members have a day to enjoy the beaches and swim and snorkel over the colorful Ningaloo Reef. There are further opportunities for rest and relaxation on the sands at Exmouth, before heading to the plantations and wildlife rescue park near Carnarvon. This wonderful tour of Western Australia ends back in Perth, but not before you’ve had the chance to try out sandboarding down the area’s dunes! See all Australia holiday packages.
