Alice Springs Tours and Trips

97 reviews on bookmundi

As the focal point of Central Australia, Alice Springs is the starting point for many Australian adventures. While a relatively small town of approximately 28,000, a visit to Alice Springs offers a lesson in Aboriginal and pioneering history. But the main reason travellers stop at this small town that lies amongst the desert? Some of Australia’s most iconic natural landmarks, such as Uluru/ Ayers Rock and Kata Tjuta/ The Olgas are all within a short distance.

We had an enjoyable trip, and our driver/guide, Phil, did a fantastic job getting us to all the sites on time. At each location he lead the group on very informative tours and hikes.

Accomodation was excellent at all the places we stayed. An extra day at kings canyon would have been a great addition .Even access to the ridge walk that is accessible foe tourist that aren’t capable at the 500 steps but are fit veneogh to do the rest of the climb.Name tags should be a priority for all touring group members. The coach driver/tour director Jim did a fantastic job with his knowledge regarding the tour and his communication with all the passengers ‘

This would be one of my top 3 trips in all my years of travelling. Our driver/tour guide was top notch. His wit, easy going nature, vast knowledge of the areas we travelled and his expert driving made for a very relaxing, yet educational experience. The scenery and locations we visited were breath taking, our accomodation was comfortable, spacious and very well maintained and the pace of the trip was a perfect balance of exertion and relaxation. Can recommend this to anyone interested in seeing the outback of Australia but has limited time.

Jim was a very informative guide making every aspect of the trip so interesting. The group was compatible. The places themselves were stunning- the colours will stay with me always. The bus was very comfortable.

Great Tour

Had a great tour on the Rock to Water tour with Sam. Sam was very knowledgeable and provided lots of information on the flora and fauna and history during the tour. There were lots of jokes and stories on the way and the group got along really well together. The food cooked by Sam was great as well! Would highly recommend the tour! Thanks Sam!
