Short Everest Base Camp Trek

Great, challenging, trek! .

This tour was an awesome experience! Subash who owns a local tour company helped to make sure everything was taken care of before arrival and our guide Basu / porter Kumar were both great. Basu was very knowledgeable and easy to get along with which is key during a long trek. Bonus points for going during summit time, so cool. Thanks for being on top of everything and anticipating weather changes so we were able to get home on-time. Can’t wait for our next trek!

Excellent customer service from Subash and our guide Suman was both informative, professional and extremely helpful. Everything went well and although the weather was quite bad, Suman always had a smile and was happy to help as much as he could. Highly recommended.

Great scenery after landing at lukla and it goes continue till come back. We wanted to this trip and we were success.

Fine itinerary for the Everest Base camp Trek, Cold at the top with speed wind during end end of December.

This trek is a shortened version of the 12 or 14 day hike to Everest Base Camp without the "climitization" days. You can do this trek alone because the trails are clearly marked out, but if this is your first time in Nepal and don't want to do the research before hand, I recommend booking a guide (and $200 Porter if you have a duffel you don't want to carry). Be prepared to spend $100-150 extra during the 10 days. Drinks are not included in this package (water, tea) and I had to charge my phone and power bank. It came up to $150 that I gave my guide at the end for the extra expenses. Because the trek was myself, guide, and porter, we trekked very fast so I was glad I booked a private tour because we did the 10 day hike in 8 days. My guide Kaji was fantastic - he was incredibly attentive to my needs during the trip especially when the altitude sickness hit me pretty hard day 6 and listened to my requests for amenities in the tea houses (the local lodges where you stay). My porter, Subaz, was very fast with hiking and provided me the stretch goal of keeping up with him. That's how we trekked so fast - I was just trying to keep up with my porter! Overall I met other trekkers (typically European on sabbatical) at every meal and every lodge so I had lots of company to compare my trek to theirs. This was a great bucket list item to check off! To prep, I recommend hard day hikes of 5-6hrs before embarking on this trek.

Great outfitter route for the fit trekkers. Stunning views every day from after Namche. Kalapatthar is the best view point of Mt. Everest.

The Entire trek with scenery was outstanding. Perfect for fit trekkers. Landing at Lukla was great experience.

The Trek was actually 9 days from Kathmandu -Everest Base camp - Lukla. we flew back to Kathmandu from Lukla on the 10th days. The trek was challenging.

The Trek is an Amazing, Need to be lucky in the raining season to fly into Luka due to the weather, The flight can be canceled. In the month of July it can be rain during the trek, So was in Namche, But in the high alleviation the clouds are bellow of mountain so the view was superb. The trek was arranged very professionally.

This trek was the best trip I have ever taken... the weather was absolutely beautiful, we had stunning views of Everest. The guide was so, so helpful and FUN. We laughed half way up the mountain and took so many beautiful photos. In the tea houses I met so many people from all over the world.. I also met some people who had just done the summit of Everest! It was honestly perfect. I have nothing negative to say!

What an amazing adventure we had through Bookmundi and Exciting Nepal! Throughout the whole planning process they were so helpful on replying to our emails and questions we had about our Trek. Our guide Suman was absolutely phenomenal!!! Suman was so patient, kind, helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, service orientated, and overall we had such a great group along with our porters that our trip was truly amazing and so memorable! I'd love to go back and explore more of Nepal and the beautiful scenery there!

This trek was so incredible! Our guide Shiva was very knowledgeable about the mountain and trails. He was so friendly and made our trip very fun and special. He was able to regularly check our oxygen levels and give good suggestions for foods to eat to keep our spirits and bodies working well throughout the trek. Would recommend to anyone looking for the adventure of a lifetime. The views were unbelievable- so bring a camera :)
