Had a wonderful time doing the Poon Hill trek, thanks to Nepal Lion Trek and my guide, Bijay Adhikari!
This is my first time to be Nepal, I totally love here!! The 7 days poon hill treck is a great experience for me to feel the nature and understand the life of nepal people who are living in the mountain village!! And its totally worth it to see a sunrise from poon Hill , besides, my tour guide Prakash is a really nice guy and organised everything of the whole trip, thank you so much for making such a amazing journey !! Nepal Ill be back someday !!!
It's our first time experience trekking in Nepal and it was an amazing experience as we see different people from many countries and experience the Nepalis hospitality at its best. We can honestly say that Prakash, our guide, did not disappoint and always very kind and helpful. Overall, we recommend people to join this trek.
Great trek and experience for my wife and I. The guide (Vinod) was very friendly and patience with us as we trekked slowly over the 6 days. For the budget the accommodation wasn't flash but acceptable. You should note that mineral water, hot showers and wifi are usually extra on top of the package (we found out afterwards). Also, it was quite a busy time for the company so some details went missing in communication between the manager back at the office and the guide. For example, we had a porter included but we had to remind the guide that it was included multiple times before he realised. Also, they provided a nice certificate at the end to celebrate our achievement but then mistakenly put the wrong altitude reached (i.e. Poon Hill was about 3200 metres and then put 4100 metres). A little more attention to detail would have been nice but overall a great experience.
Annapurna Trekking is certainly one of the most rewarding treks in Nepal. The views are simply stunning and as this was our first time on a long overseas trek, we were very inexperienced and hopeful that our guide would be patient, supportive and have everything in order. We had an excellent guide, who should all the traits we were hopeful of and even had a lovely meal with the manager of our local tour operator on our last day. I would certainly recommend Nepal trek to anyone who wants a low cost high value experience.
The sunrise in Poon Hill is arguably one of the best viewpoints in the world. The whole Annapurna and Dhaulaghiri range in all its splendour .We had a great time atAnnapurna Poonhill Trekking. It was nice and easy booking. Very good service and a reasonable price.
We had an unforgettable seven-day trek to Poon Hill and back around the Annapurna region, rigorous enough to be exciting and filled with absolutely breathtaking views, without being too challenging for beginners like we were. surya an excellent guide -- professional, extremely knowledgeable and dependable. Highly recommend the Poon Hill trek for beginners looking for a bit of steep climbing, rain forestry and of course views, and of course even more advanced trekkers who'd like a shorter four or five day jaunt. It's a well-trodden path and at night times you sleep in little village guesthouses along the way, cheap places with identical menus (but prices the rise the higher you climb) and clean beds. Don't forget to wake up early for the Poon Hill sunrise 6:30am. I won't forget it. We had a great time at Poonhill. It was nice and easy booking. Very good service and a reasonable price.

Ghorepani Poon-hill trek is a colorful and challenging short adventure into the Annapurna region. Which is one of the famous short trekking In Nepal.I was here during a trekking Ghorepani it is a walk of maybe 1/2 hour to Poon Hill. You have to get up early. Best view is round 5 o clock. There are not many clouds (if you are Lucky) When the sun sets the view on the Annapurna and Dhaluaugiri range is breath taking...
