Excellent trek, surprisingly challenging

I had a great time on this trek and Raj was an incredible guide with great communication throughout. His hospitality, and flexibility were incredibly welcomed and the trek was fairly challenging for one of the more 'moderate' hikes. Loved the experience and could not be happier!

Poonhill short Trek with Raman

I did this Trek of four days that I can summarize as " nature, adventure, stunning views, in fantastic company". We saw Incredible landscapes, crossed bridges and rivers on foot, climbed many stairs and had very good moments. My guide (Raman) was very attentive and gentle, and explained yo me everything I was curious about. Thank you very much for such a nice trip! Maybe one day I'll repeat with you ;-)

This is why Nepal is worth a visit

Our tour operator and Raman our guide made us this trek unforgattable. I think 20% commission for the price is too much considering the poverty in Nepal.

Poon Hill Trek

The trek was beautiful, the scenery magnificent and the hospitality along the way delightful. It was a shame my guide seemed more interested in trying to hurry me along than he did in helping me enjoy the glories of the Himalayas.

Poon Hill, 4 days

Great experience for people with lack of time for decent trek. It contains various aspects of nice trek: countryside, hills, forest trek, rocks & waterfalls and (of course) sunrise experience with the great view of both Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. Recommended as first experience with Himalayas - not demanding, time consuming but totally rewarding.

Best adventure so far!

We had a great time on our first trip to Nepal - Poonhill is best way to start the Himalaya experience! Even though it's shortest trek possible, it's still somehow demanding - especially the +3200 steps in Ulleri. You need to be mentally and physcially prepared for 6-7 hours of walking every day. The views of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna (among others) were incredibly rewarding.

Poon hill trek

It was great! The guides and porters were amazing and felt like a part of our group. We had so much fun together. The accommodations at night were better than we expected and there was even a (warm) shower! The meals along the way were nice as well. The views are breathtaking, and there is much variation in scenery. It is worth the musclepain in your legs. Perhaps the best four days of our Nepal holidays!

Mike and Diana Poon Hill Treck

We have just finshed the Poon Hill treck during our first time visiting Nepal. Well what can I say We have had an amazing experience and while we have shown great willing and worked extremely hard we could not have completed this adventure without our guide Bibek Bhatta. From the start Bibek showed his experience and class with knowledge of not only the Poon Hill trail, but also ABC and Everest Base camp (I would 100% be confident to contact him in the future if we looked to make one of these trails) Bibek was keen to answer our questions on religion, nepal, culture and anything else we had to ask. We certainly feel as though we have gone through both a learning and fitness experience. He gave the perfect balance between making sure we was challenged but also allowing us to move at our own pace. Bibek' s English was excellent which meant that we could have plenty of fun along the way. His connections on the mountain ensured that we stayed in the best guest houses, avoided bad weather and got to experience the best views at the best time of day (That's what we are going for right). Bibek's hospitality didn't end on the mountain when he realised our outbound journey from Nepal wouldnt work he supported having the flight times changed and when we thought we was going to miss out on Phewa lake he continued as a guide to make sure our Pokhara experience was complete before ensureing that we made it to the airport on time. (He has just messaged to make sure we have made our journey safely). It feels as though we have made a friend. On reflection I think that the guide can make or break your trip and while I know there will be other good ones in Nepal Bibek was fantastic. Anyway a picture paints a thousand words...
