Beginning in Dhap, you’ll traverse lush valleys and traditional Sherpa villages, savoring the rich Buddhist culture at sites like Thupten Choling Monastery. The trail reveals sweeping vistas of Everest, Makalu, Kanchenjunga, and more from Pikey Peak’s summit. Along the way, experience the diverse customs of Sherpa, Chhetri, Tamang, and Gurung communities.

day 1 - Drive to Dhap Bazaar (2850m) & trek to Jhapre (2815m)
Today, you will start your adventure by driving to Dhap Bazaar at an altitude of 2850m. The journey will be long and scenic, taking approximately 8-9 hours. Upon reaching Dhap Bazaar, you will begin your trek to Jhapre at 2815m. The trek will offer beautiful views of the surrounding landscapes as you make your way to your destination.
day 2 - Trek from Jhapre to Pikey Base Camp (3640m)
After a good night's rest in Jhapre, you will continue your trek towards Pikey Base Camp at 3640m. The trek today will take around 5-6 hours, and you will be surrounded by stunning mountain views along the way. Once you reach Pikey Base Camp, you can relax and enjoy the tranquility of the mountains.
day 3 - Hike To Pikey Peak( 4065m ) & Trek to Jhapre
Today's highlight is the hike to Pikey Peak at an elevation of 4065m. You will start early to catch the sunrise from the peak, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the Himalayas. After the hike, you will trek back to Jhapre, which will take approximately 6-7 hours. Take in the beauty of the landscapes as you descend back to your starting point.
day 4 - Trek to Dhap & Drive to Kathmandu
On your final day, you will trek back to Dhap from Jhapre. From there, you will drive back to Kathmandu at an altitude of 1400m. The journey will be long, around 8-9 hours, but you can reminisce about the amazing experiences and memories you have made during your trek. Arriving back in Kathmandu, you can rest and reflect on your successful trek to Pikey Peak.

From Snow-Capped Peaks to Rolling Hills: Pikey Peak Trek Has it All
My experience with the Pikey Peak trek was truly amazing! The views of the Himalayas were breathtaking and the trek itself was challenging yet rewarding. Our guide Lhakpa Sona and porter Nima were both excellent and provided us with helpful tips and advice throughout the trek. They were also very knowledgeable about the local culture and traditions, which added another layer of depth to the trek. The accommodation along the trek was comfortable and clean, and we were able to enjoy delicious local cuisine. Additionally, the email response from the trekking company was quick and helpful, which made the planning process easy and stress-free. Overall, I highly recommend the Pikey Peak trek and the trekking company we used. It was an unforgettable experience and I can't wait to go back and explore more of Nepal's beautiful landscapes.
Pikey Peak to Gokyo
We did an excellent 22 day trek from Dhap to the summit of Pikey Peak and then on to Gokyo lake, summiting Gokyo Ri. We then returned and took a flight from Lukla to Kathmandu. There were times when it got pretty difficult with long trekking days but we were expertly guided by Lhakpa Sonna Sherpa and our porters - Nima and his brother Tenji. Our great crew were from the village of Bupsa and we were fortunate to be introduced to our guide’s family when trekking through that area. The trek below Lukla was the most physically demanding but well worth it. There were hardly any fellow trekkers and the views were spectacular. The company arranged everything we needed and our accomodation and service couldn’t be faulted. We would certainly recommend them to anyone trekking in Nepal. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the whole area and was exceptionally patient with us. He was really good at getting our flight back from Lukla when there was high demand. The inclusions in the trek were great with good quality jackets and sleeping bags. The porters were awesome. Happy to provide this review for such a great experience.

I did the Pikey Peak Trek, the trek is very Nice with Guide Karma Sherpa from this tour company in Nepal. Karma is very wise, experienced, attentive, and fun. Always felt very safe on the mountain with his guidance. Amazing trek. Looking forward to the next time! Highly Recommended!
