day 2 - Kathmandu Tour (b,l)

After breakfast, meet your guide to begin your Kathmandu Tour.

Start with a visit to Ason, Kathmandu’s oldest market, where you’ll experience the bustling local life and explore century-old temples and monasteries.

Next, head to Patan, the second-largest city in the Kathmandu Valley. Here, you’ll discover ancient Buddhist shrines and monasteries, including the Mahabouddha Temple, Golden Temple, Rudra Varna Mahavihara, and Ashoka Stupa, many of which date back to ancient times.

After lunch, drive to Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest stupas in the world and a major pilgrimage site for Tibetan Vajrayana Buddhists. The stupa’s mandala-like design, adorned with prayer wheels, attracts both religious and non-religious visitors.

Return to your hotel in Kathmandu for an overnight stay.

On the third day of your journey, you'll set out on a flight to Pokhara.

Early this morning, you will journey to the hilltop village of Sarangkot to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the Himalayas. The day concludes with a relaxing boat ride on Phewa Lake.

Your adventure begins early as you head south toward Chitwan National Park. After a scenic 4-hour drive, you'll arrive at our jungle resort located on the edge of this renowned wildlife sanctuary. Here, you can dive into a range of activities such as birdwatching or a guided jungle walk, immersing yourself in the rich biodiversity of the region.

Following a delightful lunch at Chitwan, you’ll visit a local village and museum to experience the culture of an indigenous tribe.

In the evening, enjoy a vibrant traditional stick dance performed by the Tharu people, who have called this forested region home even in its most untamed times.
