Climbing the Kilimanjaro was my first addition to my bucket list, and I finally ticked it off. The journey to its top and back was extraordinary. That feeling of accomplishment is something I will forever cherish. Himalayan Glacier team did a great job in coordinating the trip perfectly.
Our Kilimanjaro climb went just as planned. Our well-experienced knew guides knew how to deal with any hurdles along the way. The equipment they provided was also of high quality. Overall, the trip was perfect.
Absolutely wonderful experience climbing Kilimanjaro. From pre-tour planning at home to be picked up and dropped off at the airport and everything in between was well managed. Our guide made us feel as if we were his family and took good care of us. Even the meals prepared during the climb were delicious. We are glad that he led us to Kili and back. Great job, HG and the entire team.
Yet again HGT has exceeded expectations! They are everything you want in a travel company - skilled guides/porters, friendly staff, reasonable pricing, and excellent communication/planning. Tony worked directly with me to ensure the trip would meet/exceed all my expectations. Fredy and Paul, our Tanzanianguides, were knowledgeable, skilled, friendly and went out of there way to make sure our experience was perfect. Again, we are amazed by the strength and endurance of our incredible porters, who make it possible for 2 people to successfully summit Kili. Afterwards, Frank and Fredy catered to our every need on our 3 day safari.Everything was perfect!
We recently utilized Himalayan Glacier Trekking for a Mt. Kilimanjaro hike and summit. There were 9 in our party - a mix of men, women, young and "not so young". We hiked the Lemosho route, an 8-day hike. The experience was amazing. Our guide Paul, and his assistant guides Fredy, Paul, Orio and the others were all great! They were very attentive to our needs, engaging, friendly, spoke great English, and were always there to help or assist us in any way.Our meals were very good, and consisted of eggs, sausage, oatmeal, and toast for breakfast, various sandwiches, soups, and fruits for lunch, and chicken, pastas and vegetables for dinner. The staff did a great job of preparing and serving each meal - we did not go hungry! The overall hike and trip was amazing. The guides were especially helpful on the summit day, when several of our party needed to shed our backpacks to continue climbing. The guys were right there to grab the packs and keep helping us up. They, and we, were successful, with all of our party reaching the summit. This is the second trip i have taken with HGT, having also used them for an Everest Base Camp hike a couple of years ago. i highly recommend this very professional and friendly, customer-centric outfitter for your hiking trip to Kilimanjaro (or the Himalayas). You will not be disappointed with them!

We booked a private climb with HGT/ Tony . The communication was great pre climb and during the climb. Tony always answered his phone and I never felt rushed. The staff was very accomodating and happy to make changes as needed. We finished the climb a day early and they arranged everything so we had an extra day in town. While climbing we saw other big groups/tour companies and it made me feel fortunate that I picked HGT travels! Everyone in our group summited and had an amazing trip.
