Itinerary

The Everest panorama trek is appropriate for those travellers who have short time available for trekking in Nepal, but who still wants to see notably Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, and the beautiful Mt. Ama Dablam, including many other peaks. This trek is also very suitable for those who are not willing or able to walk all the way to Everest base camp. This trek is, however, not only popular because of its short duration and yet proximity to the world's highest mountain at 8,848m. But it is also well known as you will meet the friendly Sherpa people, see their local villages, and experience an interesting cultures and traditions.

Nepal Eco adventure offers you a great trail for the Everest panorama trekking. The trek begins at Lukla, the entrance point to the Everest region, after a 45 minutes scenic flight from Kathmandu. Our final destination of this trek is Tengboche village located on the lap of Mt. Ama Dablam. Tengboche village itself is situated a hill top and surrounded by snowcapped mountains. It also contains the famous Tengboche Monastery - the highest monastery in the world.

This trek will also pass through the hidden valley of Khumbu northwest of Namche Bazar. The area has few tourists and was only opened for tourists in 1985. Previously it was the trading route of Tibet.

We are looking forward to take you on a marvellous short adventure of a lifetime.

It was really perfect.

My husband and I just finished the Everest Panorama Trek and we could not be more happy with our experience and our choice in company. Our guide was knowledgeable, super friendly, and did everything to make our trip special. Our porter was excellent. On our last day we all had lunch at our porter's home with his family which was an amazing experience. We had friends using a different company at the same time and they were jealous of all the special touches that were included for us. It was really perfect. We will be doing another trek next year. Thank you!

Great Trip

Can't speak highly enough of the trek. Our guide Bijay was the best, very patient and with a great insight into the culture of the region and the wildlife. He also taught us a Nepalese card game which we played most evenings.

Excellent trek with a excellent trekking company and guide!

With little planning effort, we (my wife and I) selected this local tour company for a trek with our adult daughter. This company was the most responsive and attentive of the several that we contacted. From the moment we selected them, all details were taken care of for us, yet we were able to customize the trip and arrangements with no difficulty. For example, when a flight cancellation effected our arrival date in Kathmandu, Chhatra (the owner and manager) easily accommodated the necessary changes without hesitation. Our excellent guide, Ram Karki "Ramu", was incredible in how hard he worked to ensure that our trip was an experience of a lifetime. We became good friends, and learned so much from him about the area, and the Nepal people & customs. His reverence for the traditions and culture made our trip through this spiritual land a very moving moment in our lives. We got to know our two porters, Kesahar and Mekhman, as the trek progressed. They also gave us a window into the true lives of the Nepalese people in this area. Ram even arranged for us to have lunch along the trek with Mekhman's family in their home. It was one of the highlights of our trip. The trek itself and scenery was beyond belief. The views of Everest from several vantage points were awesome. That said, the countless peaks in the area were even more spectacular as we hiked among them. The trails demand a good level of fitness, but the itinerary took it slow early on to ensure we acclimated appropriately. We will always remember Ram softly cautioning us, "Slowly, slowly", as we trudged uphill, along some cliffs, and across high suspension bridges. The trails are the roads that connect all the area villages; roads that only animals and humans can cross. Yak and donkey trains carrying cargo, porters carrying huge loads, and fellow trekkers move along these well travelled paths. Many suspensions bridges along the way take your breath away, if the altitude hasn't already. :-)The accommodations in tea houses (small Nepal family owned) along the route were each an enriching experience. You get to know the other trekkers over the Sherpa-style meals. After watching the sun set on the snow covered peaks surrounding us, we enjoyed many laughs playing a Nepal card game with other trekkers and guides that our guide Ram taught us; Double Penalty. We met other company guides on the trek and they seemed to be excellent as well. My only regret is that we did not have the time for a longer trek. We hope to return someday soon to accomplish that!

Amazing Everest View Hike!

Let me start off by saying that dealing with the tour operator was a breeze. Chhatra was professional, courteous, prompt, and very responsive! I was visiting Nepal for only six days and for such a short period of time, Chhatra was able to arrange domestic flights, a customized Everest View Hike, and full accommodations. He was also kind enough to set me up on a full tour of Kathmandu with an excellent guide! I planning on going back for an EBC Base Camp trek and will definitely be calling Chhatra again.
