Everest’s legendary trails await on the "Everest Base Camp Trek," a 15-day strenuous journey designed for active adventurers and seasoned trekkers. Start and finish in Kathmandu, venturing through Phakding, Gorakshep, and beyond on a route known as "the steps to heaven."
Expect six to seven hours of trekking daily, passing through lush forests, Sherpa villages, and glacial landscapes, with full support from expert guides and porters. This trek is not just about reaching Everest Base Camp—it’s about soaking in breathtaking mountain vistas and engaging with the rich culture of the Khumbu region.
The highlight? The unique camaraderie and sense of accomplishment that comes from conquering one of the world’s most iconic trekking routes.
Challenging but worth it!
While I found the trek challenging, the collegiate nature of being with a group and having such great guides and porters meant that I felt I had support when I needed it. There were opportunities to have quiet time, and opportunities to connect with people from all over the world.
Our trek to Everest Base Camp was an unforgettable experience! A huge part of its success was thanks to our incredible guides, Raz and Shankar. Their expertise and advice were invaluable throughout the journey, and it was clear that anyone who followed their guidance had a smooth and enjoyable trek. They were patient, encouraging, and always available to answer questions or offer support, making the whole group feel at ease. The group dynamic was also fantastic – everyone supported and motivated each other, which added to the overall experience. It’s worth mentioning that following the advice provided by the guides truly made a difference in managing the challenges of the trek. It was a testament to how preparation and listening to expert guidance can lead to a rewarding and successful journey. Overall, it was a challenging yet incredible adventure, and I cannot recommend Raz and Shankar highly enough for anyone considering this trip!
It was an amazing and challenging trip with great guides (both Shankar and Raz) who were always there for us
Off-season Everest base camp is the best time to go. From sunny days to 30cm of snow we had it all. Shankar and Raj made it the most enjoyable experience ever with their upbeat attitude, knowledgeable snippets and interesting insights! I am so glad to have been part of a group that they led. Once in a lifetime experience!
Very good trip with great memories. I would recommend it to anyone.
Amazing and special thanks to our guide Ashok!
Shankar and Raj made this tour beyond enjoyable. If anyone is interested in testing themselves in the altitude with some of the best views in the world this is the tour for you.
Very good and exciting. The pace of the trek was excellent ensured everyone got to base camp with minimal problems.
It was an amazing experience. Nima and his team did an incredible job providing support and assistance throughout the trip. Wonderful attitudes and went above and beyond.
Great experience, the guide, assistant guide and poters made the trip not only possible but very enjoyable.
My wife loves trekking, but it is not my thing. That said I loved the adventure. Was made especially good because the group was very good!
This was by far the best overseas trip I have done. Nepal / base camp trek far exceed my expectations and was absolutely amazing.
