The 9 days Egypt experience was totally amazing and memorable. The tour covered all of the great things we must see in Egypt. The hotel and cruise accommodation is really worth the money and even the food is great. The Nile cruise is one of my favorites in the tour. Our tour guide George Magdy is truly an experienced guide and he made everything so smooth and easy for all of us. I would definitely recommend Expat Explore to my friends who are planning to visit Egypt and i will recommend also the same tour guide George Magdy as he made our vacation a truly wonderful time.

Tour is very well organized. Loved the itineraries. With all of our travels so far, Egypt is the most amazing and fascinating and so glad we did it! We had so much fun with this tour where we met fellow travelers who became our friends. Egypt should be in everyone's bucket list!

Accommodations were good and service as well. Abu Simbel was an optional excursion and I don't regret getting up at the crack at dawn to depart at 2:30am for it.

This tour was simply outstanding. Safety, efficiency, information, fun, friendliness, and just new thrills! We did not need to worry about anything other than being on time. I'm so glad we booked with Expat! They took care of us every step of the way. We had a full itinerary and saw so many incredible things. Our guide, Medhat, was excellent! He was so kind, knowledgeable, and kool. Our group was wonderful as well, we came from all over the world, all different ages (11-74 years old) solo travelers, couples, and families; all of us loved traveling and got along great. We were a big family of 22 people. Definitely go for the 5 star cruise option. The food on the boat was so good and the staff was very friendly. I loved this trip and it felt very safe and comfortable traveling with Expat. Definitely would use them again.

Great experience throughout. Brilliant service at the airport, treated as a VIP and whisked through all formalities so easily. Our guide, George, was a star making sure we saw the best of everything. Hospitality staff were so welcoming everywhere. Accomodation was excellent. Frequent very early morning starts were a trial but meant we were able to visit the sites when they were less busy and in the cooler part of the day. This is a must see destination and easily accessible.

The itinerary for the trip was jam-packed and we like it that way! We thought it was very good value for money. All the sites that were included were amazing and we loved all the additional add-ons. Our tour guide George was wonderful in providing everything we could have possibly ever needed. He was knowledgeable kind friendly and we felt safe the whole time. Although we disliked waking up at 4:00 in the morning to leave sometimes we appreciated the overall organization of the tour. It meant that we got to see the sites when it wasn't too busy. We loved the sense of adventure trying new food meeting the locals and exploring the culture of Egypt. We would definitely recommend this tour to other people looking for an adventure in Egypt!

An insight of The main attractions of Egypt.

My first group tour so I was a bit nervous plus my first trip to Egypt! The staff that met me at hotel were so caring and there was attention to the smallest detail such as offering me a sim card, to explaining the plans to assure me, was really thoughtful. Our guide Remon is there best and he has great humour and expertise! I cannot rate Expat higher and hope to use them again and often.

The spots were amazing and memorable, the scenery was breathtaking and the monuments were beautiful. The tour guide tried his best to satisfy everyone's needs. But I hope the time we stay in one spot could be longer, it takes time to enjoy every piece of work. The food was just okay, recommend packing with some snacks and instant food.

I felt safe the entire time with my tour guide George Magdy even with current events. The only thing I will note is one unhappy tourist will tell you this trip was less than ideal when George did everything to make the trip memorable by being informative, consistent and most importantly attentive. This is my fourth trip with Expat and I already booked my next. My only regret is that George won't be showing me around a different city. Great value and a truly wonderful trip.

Our tour was an amazing 9 day experience with a lot of information. Accommodations and food was good throughout. The Nile cruise included and lot of stops and information. All hotels are worth the stay and would of been nice to stay longer. Overall a great packed 9 day tour. Our tour leader Peter was so friendly and approachable all the time. Our tour was November 2023 with few tourists coming to Egypt. Our whole time spent in Cairo and throughout the trip we never felt unsafe. People are friendly and helpful.

I found the tour well organised, the time was well managed and we got to see and do a lot which was great. Our tour leader Peter Helmy is very friendly, professional, respectful, and knowledgeable about Egypt's history so we have a good understanding of what we were looking at at every place we visit. My experience with Expat Explore's Egypt Jewel Nile Tour was nothing short of extraordinary. I will admit, I was nervous coming to Egypt. My husband and I travelled here in Nov 2023 and I have to give all the credit to the success of this trip to our amazing tour guide Peter. Peter made me feel so safe from the first second we met him. He squashed any preconceived notions we may have had about Egypt and the Egyptian culture. The people here are so friendly and I felt safe the entire time. The tour is jammed packed. You don't have a lot of downtime so be prepared for early mornings and late days with a lot of sight seeing in between. The food was extensive! I have never eaten so much in my life! The sights of Egypt are incredible. It's worth the 4am wake up call to take the Abu Simple Temple excursion. The first and last hotel (same resort) was a little lack luster but it was good enough for the two short nights we had there. The cruise was spectacular with awesome views, some needed downtime and wonderful service. The Gravity Resort was stunning. We had a fun bunch of people from all over the world and had a perfect mixture of personalities. And of course, Peter made sure everyone had an awesome experience Overall, I would definitely recommend coming to Egypt and would highly recommend Expat Explore tours. Especially if you're lucky enough to get Peter as your guide All of the included tours were really good, aside from the locals harassing you relentlessly to purchase their products. We were warned fairly and often from Peter to just say no and keep walking however these people were quite aggressive. Be prepared to say no a lot. Also be warned that most public washrooms require payment to use them.

The 9 day Egypt trip was absolutely fantastic, the organisation was spot on which allowed me to see everything I wanted to! Ramez the tour guide was not only good at organising the group but held great knowledge of the sites we visited. Accommodation and transport were very good. I was a returning solo expat customer and met some fellow travelling friend's on this trip so since coming home we have already booked with Expat again!

I found the tour excellent. The tour guide Ray short for Ramon made this tour excellent with his friendly demeanor. He went out of his way to accommodate our requests.. We laughed along the way and Ray was very informative with the history of the many temples we visited. The one thing I was not impressed with were the early morning breakfast boxes. It was mainly rolls with very little inside the rolls.

Great 9 day itinerary experiencing all the essentials to get a feel for Egypt. The Nile cruise was my absolute favorite and exceeded expectations relaxing -yet exciting and fun.The service and staff were excellent everywhere we went and the food was authentic Egyptian. Medhat our guide worked endlessly to make our trip smooth and worry free. He is an excellent Egyptologist and a kind and thoughtful person.

Peter Helmy, our tour leader, was insightful. The temples and other sites we visited were all stunning but Peter succinctly summed up the history of the places and made us appreciate it even more. Although our tour group came from different parts of the world , I am sure we all Love Egypt and will cherish our experiences.

This is my first time traveling solo, this tour is fast pace and I wish we had more time spent on each place. Regardless of how much time we spent, the places we visited were amazing, transportation flowed smoothly starting from when I got off the plane, got an arrival visa, then I am handed off to the driver and dropped off at the hotel. On arrival at the hotel, there will be someone who will brief you on what to do and don't, then meet with the tour leader, all these are handled very well, and I felt very safe.

This was my first time travelling on an organized tour and I absolutely loved the experience. The tour was priced fairly and it took a lot of the stress of travelling away. We got to see so many incredible sites in Egypt in a short amount of time and the transportation was always on time. Mariam was our tour guide and she did a fantastic job, caring for everyone's needs, keeping track of the group, being helpful, informative and funny! Excellent job! This experience was 10/10 for me.

People from the boat, and from Oasis were fantastic. We found a lot of support.

We had an amazing time during the tour. It was incredible, especially with our extremely knowledgeable tour leader Nabil. He went far and beyond explaining to us all the details and history behind every place we visited, always enthusiastic, kind, and friendly. He also took good care of all of us, making sure we were safe all the time and always had a smile on his face. He certainly made our trip to be the best and unforgettable. We knew Egypt had a lot of history and mysteries but never knew we would end the tour bringing home such a valuable knowledge about ancient Egypt. This tour took us to all the sites in Egypt that we wanted to visit. Accommodation was dated and definitely only 3*. Recommend you purchase a local SIM as hotel wifi was weak. Be aware of early starts and possible long days in the heat. Included meals were okay but several nights we had difficulty finding appropriate meals. Included breakfast bags were not great. Resort was superficial with many people eating buffet style food that should have been hotter, warm beer, warm wine and warm soft drinks provided. Do your homework when travelling to this part of the world.

We enjoyed the trip a lot. Slower than some of the other Expat trips because of the extreme heat. Very nice history and guides that help you to understand everything

Absolutely rate this tour for covering Egypt. Our tour guide Ramez was fantastic, not only very knowledgeable but everything organised without a hiccup. It would be difficult to see all these sites of Egypt / navigate Egypt without a tour.

The tour was great, the perfect balance between sight seeing and relaxing. Plenty of optional activities if you want to explore more - we visited the temple of Abu Simbel with a 2.30 am wake up but it was worth seeing the sun rising at the temple. We were picked up at the airport when we arrived and always felt taken care of. The Egyptologist Ramses went above and beyond, he knew everything about Egypt and all the different dynasties. He also ensured we were informed and not taken advantage by the local, he informed us what the price of things were and gave us tips on how to bargain. We always felt safe with a security guard traveling with us most of the times. Truly remarkable experience!

Great itinerary visiting a lot of bucket list places on a very well organised tour. The tour guide (Ramez) was, amazingly knowledgeable and brought the history alive with his enthusiasm. He also was organised, friendly and clearly wanted us all to have a great experience in his country. It was a good idea that we started early on tours, both to avoid the extreme heat, lots of other tourists, and traffic too. We both enjoyed the tour and learnt so much..

Ramez was an amazing tour leader and brought Egyptology to life.. I broke my ankle before the tour and he made sure I was still able to experience most activities and then itinerary allowed enough rest options for me. We traveled with 2 kids aged 10 and 16 and they loved it, although they were exhausted aft 9 days. We saw so many ancient temples hieroglyphs, mummies that will be memories forever. We felt very safe traveling with a tour group and our tour leader gave us great tips to avoid scams. I'd recommend buying the booklets on Egyptian dynasties and gods from the local sellers to help absorb all the information. A highlight for our 16 yr old was the optional Nubian village tour.

Wow, all I can say is wow. From start to finish this trip has been amazing. Ramez our tour guide was one of the best I've ever had, so knowledgeable, caring for the group and made learning about Egypt so fun! We were so fortunate with the people we had in our group. This has been on my bucket list for ages and to have visited so many places in such a short amount of time was incredible. Especially the cruise on the Nile! Will most definitely be back & recommend to all my friends & family. Thank you once again Ramez & the team at expat for always helping & replying promptly when booking this trip.

This was a fantastic trip, and our group leader/Egyptologist George Basher had a lot to do with that! He was extremely knowledgeable about all the sites we visited, and even took us to a couple of places not listed on the itinerary, when there was time. He constantly communicated with us about the current/next day's schedule and gave us helpful information about how to stay safe, what to expect, how to deal with the (sometimes very) aggressive vendors, and even offered advice and information on some post-trip activities I was interested in. The schedule was busy, but not exhausting (I am 64 and female), and we had a slower schedule while on the cruise and in Hurgada, which was nice, as it was a chance to ""hang"" with varying people in our group and get to know one another, or just wander on your own. As this was my first group tour with any tour company, and I was traveling alone, I was a bit trepidatious before the trip. However, once we met on the first night and everyone (including George) introduced themselves, I felt completely at ease. I was not the only single traveler, either, there were five of us: three men and two women. My female roommate was (and still is) a wonderful person and we got along very well for the duration of the trip (and beyond)! The sites we visited were all very interesting and George was excellent at explaining the history of what we saw during a walk-through, then allowing us to wander on our own with plenty of time to take pictures, grab a cold beverage and/or a snack, and then meet up with the rest of the group at the designated time and place. George was very kind, approachable, and great at keeping us ""on schedule."" I came home not just having been sightseeing, but having learned much about the history and culture of both present-day and historical Egypt! I highly recommend this trip to anyone who wants to see and learn about Egypt! I imagine all their guides are great, but George went far and above in every way!

A whirlwind trip through Egypt! The tour was everything I expected, and more. The days were jam-packed with visits to various temples, which were all perfectly explained by our tour guide. I just got done with a 9 day Egypt Jewel tour with the absolute best guide I've ever had. I have gone with other companies and by far Ehab the ""Egyptologist"" was the absolute best. From the basics of scheduling our tours and showing us around to making sure I got in my Ubers, they knew exactly where I was going, made it safely to where I was going, AND waited up for me to be back at the hotel every time. He reads the room and caters tours to the people on that specific tour! Unfortunately there's always one person who tries to ruin it for the rest but until the very end he did everything in his power to try and make them happy too. I hope everyone who goes on this tour gets Ehab (or Ramez who is equally as amazing!) You will go home with the best stories and the most fun memories!

Peter is an amazing guide. He is so knowledgeable, available, and really ensured we had a great time. I do recommend getting out and eating local as much as possible vs the included meals.

On February 4.2023, me, my husband, neice, and her fiancee traveled on the Nile Jewel Egypt Tour. Words can't describe how completely amazing everyday was. After Day 1, we all said, if this was the whole tour we could be happy, we saw so many incredible sites in 1 day. Our tour director, Ash was incredible , he knows his history and it was fascinating to learn about it all.he was kind and very patient with everyone on the tour. Ask for him ! The Nile Crusie was fantastic. So smooth and wonderful . I still dream about my Sunrise Hot Air Ballon ride near the Valley of the Kings -I highly recommend doing it.we felt completely safe every day. The resort in Hurghada on the Red Sea was fabulous. Loved my Spa Day there ! The Egyptian people are warm and inviting. We felt 100% safe everyday and evening there!

This trip was better than I even imagined! Our tour guide Nabil made sure we were always taken care of and was super knowledgeable about all of the spots we visited. The Nile cruise was AMAZING! There are a couple of early mornings and the food isn't perfect at the first hotel, but otherwise the trip was so great and I made so many great friends from our tour group!

I have been to Egypt before and expected to have a lot of problems during the tour but apart from a couple of disconnects it was very well organised, thank you! Excellent all around and a terrific value! Our tour guide Ash was phenomenal, accommodations were very good - especially the Nile cruise on the Amwaj, our tour mates lots of fun, and the itinerary delivered 5,000 years of Egyptian architecture, art, culture and history to soak in. It's like being Indiana Jones for a week - without any of the hastle!

This is our third trip with Expat and we never disappointed. Our tour started from Oct 2nd, 2021 to Oct 10th, 2021. We really enjoyed this tour. It was very well planned and smooth. Our tour leader, Semsem, was very knowledgeable about the Egyptian history, he always gave us detailed information about the history of each site that we visited. He looked after the team and managed the time very well. Only within 7 days (days 2 through 8) we travelled to many places in Egypt to explore the ancient temples, pyramids, tombs, museum, and more. We can recommend this tour to our friends. One area that should be improved was the bus from Hurghada to Cairo was so crowded as three tour groups were combined into one bus. It was a little unorganized and it was hard to find seats for both of us.

I was so lucky to be traveling with my two daughters. Our tour leader, Sem Sem, was fantastic. Both very knowledgeable about Egypt and personable. We were extra fortunate in that we had a truly great tour group. I do have to say the tour really needs to be at least 1 day longer as there is so much crowded into 7 days.

Fantastic trip!! We had the best tour guides: Mina M. and Medhat! So knowledgeable, personal and fun. You will get to see and do sooo much on this trip! I truly learnt so much about Egyptian history and culture. The river nile cruise was fantastic. Food, staff and accommodations were great! Pros: Cairo Pyramids, Luxor Temple, Valley of the kings, Karnak Temple, Philea Temple, Temple of Hatshepsut and the list goes on! Must do extra's: Abu Simbel Nubian Dinner Alexandria Cons: I would NOT do the Cave church. You drive through garbage city and then the church cave tour is extremely rushed. Very odd tour. Resort in Hurghada is beautiful and brand new, however drinks and food were very poor. We went off the resort to eat. Overall I still give this trip 5 stars as the experience was amazing, expat was very organized and everything ran extremely smoothly.

Our guide Mariam, took wonderful care of us. A fast paced tour that covered all of the highlights in Egypt. Would recommend!

We are family 4 people in one order number but never live close by and not even in same floor. That is cause very inconvenience to us. Why it is happened like that? Our tour guide Nabil is very good but some tour are not worth that cost. 1. Sound and light show in Aswan, the light and sound are low quality feel worth 30 USD but asked 45 USD 2. Camel ride only ride around 200 meters asked 120 local money and spend lot of time just stand there. That is not real ride at all! 3. There are lot of garbage out of control and feel like live in garbage can. This long history tour should not like it. 4. The washroom cost money that is ok but the washroom condition is very bad. You collected money should not in bad condition. There are lot improvement to make this tour better! I may recommend this tour to other people but hope it will be getting better! Jane

Great trip, loads to see and do. Need a mix us dollar and Egyptian pound. Make sure have small currency for toilet stops. Option 3night river cruise is the better option very relaxed.

We crammed in the sites during our 8 day tour. A terrific experience. Highlights were Medhat our Egyptologist, MS La Traviata on the Nile, and the fantastic tombs and temples. The Red Sea hotel in Hurghada was a relaxing break on the way back. The hotel at the beginning and end of the trip in Cairo was functional if a little tired. And the group was good fun!

Our tour guide Samar was so knowledgeable, patient & became a part of our family!! We had the best time!! The tour was very well organized. There wasn't a moment that we felt unsafe. Highly recommend!!

This was my fifth expat tour. It was very affordable and not like the European tours that are well established. It is subcontracted to another local tour company so the little things that gives the European tours the extra flavor were not present here. Having said that this was an excellent tour with an excellent tour guide, Medhat. He saw to our every need and was always there to assist us in any way. There is a little bit of everything thrown in - temples, tombs, cruise and some time at the red sea.

Egypt was amazing and I highly recommend to anyone that is considering Egypt! The people in Egypt are absoultely sweet but don't get into their money traps! Nabil was my tour guide and he was great! He really knew EVERYTHING about the historical and current culture.

This has been one of my favorite trips of a lifetime! Tour guide sommer is such an excellent tour guide. Very knowledgeable and very kind. I would definitely recommend this tour to others. Went there with my friend and came out making new friends. Love it!

The Egypt Nile Jewel has been an exhilirating tour through a country filled with anomalies. The tour is jam-packed with a variety of activities that reveal many aspects of Egyptian life. Very early mornings and sometimes quite late arrivals do not detract from the overall enjoyment of the tour. They purely afford one the opportunity to see more. One however does always have the option to, at times, take things at a more leisurely pace and opt out of some of the optional excursions and rather spend the day on the lovely NIle Cruise boat. This tour of Egypt offers the most amazing insight into the past, the reality of life in a desert, the importance of the Nile and much more. I learnt more in 9 days in Egypt than I could ever imagine. Our tour guide Somar was outstanding. She was organsised, enthusiastic, efficient and very helpful and ensured that we all had a marvellous time.

Tour was wonderful and very informative. I love Valley of the Kings, Philae and Luxor Temple, the pyramids and the cruise. Guide could wear a voice microphone or voice enhancer so we could all hear. Problem with delayed flight to Aswan that delayed everything else. Bus needs a heater. Better lunch or breakfast boxes (5 ocs of bread!). This is my 4th expat tour and will be booking more!

We liked the mix of nationalities and the places visited, especially Abu Simbel.

The tour was very well structured and we felt very comfortable and safe the entire time. A couple of things to consider though, the food often wasn't very good. The food at the hotels especially was bizarre and borderline inedible. I'm not a food snob by any means, but trust me, you may want to make alternative dinner plans when you're in Cairo and Hurghada. The tour guide also didn't speak English THAT well so he was a little hard to understand at times. This made his explanations and descriptions of the sites hard to follow. He was helpful and nice, but it was frustrating when he would gather the group at a site and talk for 15 minutes and you wouldn't really understand what he was saying. I would recommend doing your own research on each site ahead of time. Egypt is also a very polluted, impoverished, and crowded country so understand that the sole reason for doing this tour is to see the tombs, temples, and artifacts. Don't expect to be wowed by the culture, cuisine, or cities. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone with an interest in ancient Egypt though. The pyramids are mind blowing and the diving/snorkeling at the Red Sea was the best I've ever experienced! Also, you must do the balloon ride in Luxor!

Cairo Hotel: 4 stars (Nice breakfast buffet. Hotel restaurant menu had a nice variety of dishes.) Cruise: 4 stars (Good buffet selection. Clean. Comfortable rooms.) Hurghada Resort: 4 stars (The entire resort, Caves, is Flintstones themed. It's not written out or mentioned on their website, but if you know, you know. Food was mediocre. All-inclusive so you get free alcohol :) ) Tour Bus: 5 stars (Cleaned and well-maintained. Seats that can recline for long drives! Longest drive is 5-6 hours from Hurghada back to Cairo.) Tour Guide: 5 stars (Medhat was a wonderful guide! Well informed and patient with our group.) Extra Excursions: > Abu Simbel: 4.5 stars (Beautiful! Great for photos. Early morning start with 3 hour drive.) > Red Sea Snorkeling: 5 stars (Went in late December and it was very windy/cold but the water was at a warmer and more comfortable temperature. Waves were harsh so I used a life jacket just in case and had a great time.)

From Cairo's ancient pyramids to Luxor's grandiose temples, this trip was an adventure from start to finish!

The tour was perfectly organised taking every single detail into consideration from the arrival in Cairo AP until the departure. There were few assistants from Timeless Travel who attended to all our needs and ensure we have happy and secure. We have seen so many places and gathered a lot of information about the country, life and the great history of Egypt. I throughly enjoyed the 5* Nile Cruise experience. Food served on the boat was amazing.

Most days started before 5 am and ended with dinner after 8 pm. The schedule is never relayed until night before the tour the next day. Too many stops for commissioned sales: cotton factory, papyrus factory, etc. When lunch is not included the tour hauls you to a buffet for $10 plus drinks, plus tips, etc. You will have many undisclosed tips and fees that were unknown until the tour starts. Information given by tour guide was false on multiple occasions. Read before you go.

Seeing all the ancient temples and pyramids was something I've wanted to do all my life. This tour made it happen and the tour guide was very passionate when sharing his vast knowledge of ancient Egypt. Very glad I went on this tour.

Be prepared to wake up early, like 3am early, and not have lunch until 2 or 3pm. Overall it was a good tour I just wish there had been better communication concerning the schedule.

So much was seen in Egypt! This was a tour that I will never forget!

Took this trip with the tour operator in Oct 2019 and it was a spectacular journey to witness the ancient civilization of Egypt. Our guide, Kero, was not only extremely knowledgeable about Egyptian history but also very attentive to ensure that everyone in the tour group felt welcomed and comfortable as a big family.

This Nile Jewel tour took place at the end of Sept 2019. The organisation of the tour incl. travel arrangements were excellent. The cost of the tour was also very reasonable. The tour guide (Samar) is very knowledgeable and convivial. The choice of accommodation in Cairo could be better though: The Oasis hotel is run down, the service and restaurant staff were unpleasant and often even rude. The Nile cruise part and the day in Hurghada were outstanding. The buses we travelled on were comfortable (toilets were not operational though for some odd reason). The structure of the tour offers some free time, which was good. Overall, I/we enjoyed this tour/product very much and would consider other tours offered by this tour operator.
