Egypt & Jordan Adventure with Felucca Cruise

The tour was packed with stops but also had some down time to unwind. Our guide Mina in Egypt was truly a gem! He made sure we were enjoying every bit of the tour. He really did love showing us his country! The Felucca boat was an unforgettable experience! Jordan was only a few days but equally amazing!

Incredible tour! George Basher our Egyptologist was excellent. He was extremely knowledgeable about all the sites we visited. He want out of his way to accommodate our individual requests on the tour. His gregarious personality was much appreciated as this set the great mood for the entire group. I would have preferred to skip Hergada completely to allow for more time at Valley of the Kings and the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. The Jordan portion was excellent, but way too short. More time in Petra is needed as well as at the Dead Sea.

It was an amazing holiday

This tour was well run and for me a completely different cultural experience. I could relax and just go with the flow knowing everything was taken care of by the amazing tour leaders who were so very knowledgeable and caring. Their job is so difficult and I appreciated them both so much. My life has been forever changed got the better by visiting these countries thank you to everyone at Expat.

All the places we visited were incredible, a real once in a lifetime experience! The temples, historical sites and tombs were fantastic and exceeded our expectations. We had a wonderful tour group of 9 people, and we really enjoyed travelling around with them. All of the hotels we stayed in were clean and well located, the buffets provided were of good quality although the selection could have been a bit more varied. The tour was organised well however we did have a few hiccups along the way; there was some confusion on our hotel booking for the first night and some of the excursions could have been more thoroughly explained. We were disappointed with the felucca cruise overall, the food was great however we didn't do a lot of sailing (just travelling from one bank to another) and the sleeping arrangements were poor. Overall we enjoyed the trip, the guides were excellent and very friendly. Petra and Dead sea are a must. Would absolutely recommend but be prepared for the felucca/wadi rum camp site as no ensuite facilities. Also bear in mind there is a lot of travelling mainly by mini bus.
