day 1 - Arrive in Egypt: welcome to the land of the pharaohs
On arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be met by one of our representatives. He will help you with all the formalities and also help you get your visa done. Thereafter, enjoy a drive to your hotel in a private vehicle. Stay overnight in Cairo.
day 2 - Discover the Pyramids of Giza, Memphis & Sakkara
Start your day with an exploration of the Giza Plateau, home to the site of the pyramids of Cheops, Mycerinus and Chephren that were built during the Fourth Dynasty (approximately 2690 BC). You also have the option to revel in the opportunity to discover the interior of one of these legendary structures and marvel at the massive stones used to construct them.
See the Great Sphinx of Giza before having your lunch at a local restaurant. Then visit Sakkara, located 27 kilometers to the southwest of Cairo. Visit the Step Pyramid of Sakkara (built for king Djoser). This monument is considered an important part of the process of the pyramid evolution and it is considered to be the first stone construction ever built by his genius vizor Imhotep.
Head for Memphis city, the ancient capital of Egypt, where the colossal statue of Ramses II and the famous Alabaster Sphinx are. This city dates back to 3100 BC. See the great statue of King Ramses II, the biggest man-made statue made for a king, and also see the statue of Queen Hatshepsut. Call it a day on reaching your hotel in Cairo.
day 3 - Visit the Grand Egyptian Museum&Coptic Cairo&Old Bazzar
Your day begins with a visit to the Grand Egyptian Museum, where the colossal statue of Ramses II welcomes you into a modern showcase of ancient history. Inside, thousands of artifacts reveal the story of Egypt’s civilization, highlighted by the complete collection of Tutankhamun’s treasures displayed together for the first time. Moving through the beautifully designed galleries, you gain a vivid and unforgettable glimpse into the world of the pharaohs.
Your tour at the Grand Egyptian Museum is followed by lunch after which you will head out to discover the Coptic Cairo that is contained within the boundaries of a Roman fortress. For three hundred years, from the conversion of emperor Constantine until the arrival of Islam, Egypt was a Christian nation and the Coptic church is one of the oldest communions as well as the church that really pioneered austere monasticism in remote deserts. There are still tens of thousands of Coptic Christians in Egypt, many of whom live in this part of the capital. Their most famous church is that of El Muallaqa, the Hanging Church, built over one of the gateways into the old fortress with its nave suspended above the passageway. This whole area is a world-famous destination among Christian pilgrims.
Your day comes to an end after you have discovered the famous market of Khan El Khalili Bazaar.
day 4 - Nile cruise from Aswan
After your breakfast, you will check-out of your hotel in Cairo and be transferred to the Cairo airport to take your flight to Aswan. Meet our representative on arrival and start your tour by visiting the most famous sight in Aswan, Philae Island, home to a temple that was the center of the cult of goddess Isis. You will cross the Nile by motorboat to reach the temple.

day 5 - The temples on the Nile: Kom Ombo
Your cruise boat sails towards Luxor and on the way stop at some impressive temples on the Nile starting with Kom Ombo. This is followed by a lunch after which you will continue towards Edfu city to visit the one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt that is dedicated to Hours, the falcon god. You will reach the temple by horse carriage and, after discovering this monument, head back to the boat to continue your journey down the river.
day 6 - Explore the west bank of Luxor
After breakfast on board the cruise boat, you will start your tour of the west bank of Luxor with the Valley of the Kings. The vividly painted tombs of Thebes' pharaohs allow visitors a glimpse at the burial rites and death rituals of ancient Egypt and remain Luxor's greatest and most popular attraction.
You have the opportunity to visit three out of more than 64 tombs found in the Valley of the Kings followed by a visit to the temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. Carved out of hard yellowish-brown sandstone quarried in the hills above Edfu, they represent Amenophis III seated on a cube-shaped throne and once stood guard at the entrance to the king's temple, of which only a few traces are left. Get back to your Nile cruise for lunch and start sailing towards Edfu. Enjoy lovely time on the sundeck. Your dinner will be served on board.
day 7 - Discover Karnak & travel to Hurghada by car
Disembark from your Nile cruise after breakfast and head out to discover the temple complex of Karnak. Bold, massive and hugely ambitious, this temple complex is one of ancient Egypt's grandest building projects. Every pharaoh worth their salt added and amended the buildings here during their reign, stamping their seal on the kingdom's most revered religious sanctuary. For Karnak was the house of gods, and its glories were to be feted by all.
Then continue to the Luxor Temple, whose construction started during the time of Amenhotep III (1390 BC to 1352 BC) but was completed during the time of Horemheb (1323 BC to 1295 BC). Toward the rear of this temple is a granite shrine dedicated to Alexander the Great.
Next, travel to Hurghada in a private vehicle. the journey takes about four hours. Check into your accommodation in Hurghada. You are free to enjoy the sandy beaches of the Red Sea.
