Explore medieval towns like Split and Korčula, marvel at the waterfalls of Krka National Park, and visit the enchanting Blue Cave on Biševo. It was a memorable trip with a great guide, comfortable accommodations, and tours that mix history with fun options.
Croatia is a beautiful country, it was quite crowded in several of the places we visited. Our tour manager was excellent, knowledgeable and very accommodating to the needs of the group. Our accommodations on land were very nice, our accommodations on the boat Invictus were average.
Memorable experience learning of this beautiful country! Enjoyed the experience of traveling on the sea, food delicious The palaces, forts, old cities unbelievable Craftmanship Loved this tour!
Excellent trip! Our tour guide, Daja was wonderful! Our group became family!
Vedrana leading Diocletian's tour was phenomenal.
The Invictus ship time was wonderful. The accommodations were excellent. I was pleasantly surprised at the size of the shower and lived the fact that my suitcase fit perfectly under our beds. We stopped periodically to swim in the Adriatic. So beautiful! The breakfasts were delicious, as we're the lunches and dinners. The crew was friendly and helpful. It was a great experience.
I rated this trip a 9 because our return home was chaotic. Collette needs to understand the airports of Dubrovnik and Frankfurt. There are buses to take from gate to planes, plane departures delayed and gates far apart. The layovers are not long enough because the connection flight gates are so far apart. Plus you have to add in time to stand in line to show passports. We personally had to run from terminal A to terminal Z in Frankfurt. Thank God we had our running shoes on. Our days in Croatia and its islands was beautiful. And I have to say we had the best tour manager, Sonja Sunic. She was a joy to all of us.
Loved the small less visited historic towns. Beautiful clean blue waters.
Loved swimming in the beautiful Adriatic Sea!! Enjoyed learning about the history and culture. Exploring towns on own in addition to planned tours. Enjoyed trying new foods and wines.
Our tour guide, Mirna, was absolutely incredible. She made the entire experience exponentially better. The Invictus was a wonderful experience in every way. The food was great and the crew was amazing. It was a dream trip all the way around. I can (and have!) recommend this trip most highly.
We were looking for something to do for this trip that was fun, new in our experience of traveling and to an area of the world that we had not been before. This trip met all our expectations. We like so many things about it that it would be hard to pick just one. Swimming off the back of the boast was lots of fun. Seeing an are of the world that had gone through so much in its history is very educational, and this is something we always try to do in our travels, learn about areas of the world that we know little about.
Visiting Krka national park and seeing the beautiful waterfalls and learning of its history
Loved the whole trip. Favorite memory was swimming in the Adriatic Sea. But really, the entire trip will always be one of my favorite memories. The only complaint if you wanna call it that that I had with the tour, was that the earpiece used with the whispers was very hard to keep on my ear. It would be nice to have the option to have an earbud type earpiece available.
Swim time
This was a wonderful trip!!
Our guide Gabby (Gabrielle) was wonderful. We made many scenic, beautiful stops and she wove stories of her personal life into her narrative which made it very interesting. She is humble and kind while still keep things nicely organized and on schedule. The trip itself was amazing, the highlight being our time on San Spirito II , visiting islands that postcards are created from. This trip tied with New Zealand for the best of our lives!
As in the photo, the color separations between the sea land sky were so beautiful…as if you were looking through a polarized lens
Everything great except for pre-tour in Dubrovnic. Had to get on extremely crowded city bus --couldn't breathe!(took a taxi back). No assistance as to what to go see.
The tour was great! I loved the visit to a family estate and farm and the impressive dinner buffet. City walking tours were very informative.
We took the 2 day pre tour extension tat allowed more time to sightsee in Dubrovnik. We could have stayed a couple of more days in Dubrovnik and not seen everything we wanted to see. Then joined the rest of the group on the ship intrepid for the islands tour. The time with the tour manager Ivan and time on the boat were most memorable. The crew was wonderful, especially Jela and Anja, and the food that Marin and Ana prepared was delicious. The captain, Bruno, even gave us a tour of the bridge and told us how he came to be a captain. The daily excursions ashore were very good but at times a little difficult for us as the weather was very hot and we are both in our eighties. We really enjoyed our tour managers talk onboard about the history of Croatia. I would recommend this tour for anyone that had any interest in Croatia. Quarters on the ship were tight but thats to be expected on a small (140 foot) ship.
Loved the informative presentations. The subtle humor of our tour guide was just delightful.
I loved being on the ship, and on the water. The food was great and I appreciated the fact that I did not have to cook. Our tour guides were very knowledgeable making each tour come alive.
I am the travel agent group leader. All 18 of us had a good time. The hotel and land arrangements were excellent. I love Collette However, The ship “Elixir”, left a lot to be desired. Mainly, the food was not up to par. Cold, not much variety, beef was tough, salad was just lettuce one evening, etc. Way too much fish. The cruise was not up to Collette standard. Our rooms were not cleaned on a daily basis. Captain Dua, and our tour guide, Jelena, lacked communication to all of us, when we were on board. The one night we were left waiting at the Hvar pier for an extra 1 1/2 hours to be picked up. No one let us know what was going on, so we stood there waiting. So I give mixed reviews on this tour, because of the cruise experience. I hope you will consider another company to use for the future.
Definitely need to improve the meals! More variety is needed; too much fish. Breakfast service needs more help. Coffee needs to begin sooner than 7:00am! Ran out of syrup. The first Captain’s dinner needs to be scheduled on a night when the ship is definitely in port on time. The ship was almost 1-hour late docking and the steaks were more than well done (nor the cooks fault!) A cocktail hour with snacks would have been nice the last night on board before dinner. Dinners out were fantastic! Better communication from tour guide is needed. We had no idea why the ship was delayed arriving to port the one night! Several times texted the guide with no answer.
LOVED CROATIA! GABBY OUR TOUR MANAGER WAS AWESOME! BO BO OUR BUS DRIVER WAS GREAT! INVICTUS YACHT AND CREW WERE THE BEST! PORTS AND FOOD WERE GREAT!! COLLETTE IS THE BEST!!
We had a great time and the islands are so beautiful! The swim stops were enjoyed by everyone on the boat. The guides and the knowledge of each island was outstanding. This was our second trip to Croatia and the Adriatic Sea and would do it again.
The yacht and the crew were great! And our tour manager was very knowledgeable and excellent. We had tours on every island as well as a lot of free time. Collette did a great job in organizing this trip.
